Can we use them to get a flawless victory? Let's find out![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Finance Update w/ Saffron Olive --------------------------------------------------------------- [Slickshot Show-Off](of+Thunder+Junction/Slickshot+Show-Off#paper) [Satoru, the Infiltrator](of+Thunder+Junction/Satoru+the+Infiltrator#paper) [Cerulean Wisps](Wisps#paper) This week in the world of Magic finance, the biggest gainer was Outlaws of Thunder Junction rare [Slickshot Show-Off (extended)](of+Thunder+Junction/Slickshot+Show-Off-extended#paper) which shot up 113% to just under $18. Apart with getting a lot of Standard hype, the two-drop might revitalize prowess decks all the way back to Modern as a hasty, flying [Kiln Fiend](Fiend#paper). While the card seems very strong, it also seems very unlikely to stick at its current price. Currently there is only one non-land rare in Standard worth more, and that card is Commander staple [Roaming Throne (borderless)](Caverns+of+Ixalan/Roaming+Throne-borderless#paper). Modern staple Standard rares tend to settle in the $10 to $12 price range, which is what I would expect for [Slickshot Show-Off (extended)](of+Thunder+Junction/Slickshot+Show-Off-extended#paper) assuming it actually is good in Modern. If you need some copies, I'd wait a few weeks for the set to be opened and the price to stabilize. If you happen to crack a few, I'd unload them now for max value. Not to be outdone, [Satoru, the Infiltrator](of+Thunder+Junction:Foil/Satoru+the+Infiltrator#paper) increased 35% this week up to $7.20. The Ninja has been called the new [Up the Beanstalk](of+Eldraine/Up+the+Beanstalk#paper) for Modern, and while it's too early to know if it will live up to the hype, it is showing up in a lot of early Outlaws of Thunder Junction Modern brews. The same advice applies here: Standard legal rares that see heavy Modern play typically end up around $10 or $12, which suggests [Satoru, the Infiltrator](of+Thunder+Junction:Foil/Satoru+the+Infiltrator#paper) may have a little room to grow, but is likely already close to its peak price. Finally in Commander, the Shadowmoor common [Cerulean Wisps](Wisps#paper) shot up to $7 this week (with foil copies pushing $70) thanks to a new combo with [Stella Lee, Wild Card (borderless)](of+Thunder+Junction+Commander:Foil/Stella+Lee+Wild+Card-borderless#paper). You can cast [Cerulean Wisps](Wisps#paper), use [Stella Lee, Wild Card (borderless)](of+Thunder+Junction+Commander:Foil/Stella+Lee+Wild+Card-borderless#paper) to copy it to untap Stella Lee and keep repeating this process until you draw your entire deck! While it's probably worth spending the $7 if you are trying to build a [Stella Lee, Wild Card (borderless)](of+Thunder+Junction+Commander:Foil/Stella+Lee+Wild+Card-borderless#paper) deck in Commander, keep in mind that the current price of [Cerulean Wisps](Wisps#paper) is largely driven by scarcity. The card is nearly two decades old and has never been reprinted. Once it gets a reprint it will likely fall back down towards bulk. --------------------------------------------------------------- Which Outlaws of Thunder Junction Precon Is The Best? --------------------------------------------------------------- Tomer analyzes, upgrades, and ranks the new Outlaws of Thunder Junction Precons![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Podcast 480: Is Loot the Next Happy Meal Toy? --------------------------------------------------------------- The crew gives their first impressions on Outlaws of Thunder Junction, discusses some massive updates on MTGO and Arena and answers #MTGF...[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Commander Clash Podcast 143: Cards That Quietly Win Games --------------------------------------------------------------- These cards may not look terribly flashy, but they put in work towards winning the game.[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Single Scoop: Satoru Is Putting Ninjutsu on the Menu --------------------------------------------------------------- Ninjutsu just got a new power bump thanks to Satoru, the Infiltrator![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- This Week in Legacy: April Metagames --------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Dyer dives into a new metagame update for Legacy![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Against the Odds: Greed's Gambit (Outlaws of Thunder Junction Standard) --------------------------------------------------------------- What are the odds of winning in Outlaws of Thunder Junction Standard by giving our opponent Greed's Gambit and watching it slowly eat away their will (and ability) to play the game?
