--------------------------------------------------------------- Budget Magic: $30 Simic Burn -------

[MTGGoldfish][Magic Newsletter] [width="1"] --------------------------------------------------------------- Pro Tour Thunder Junction Top 8 Decklists --------------------------------------------------------------- Here are your Top 8 Standard decklists from Pro Tour Outlaws of Thunder Junction![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Budget Magic: $30 (16-Rare) Simic Burn (Standard) --------------------------------------------------------------- 2BDesert%2BBurn-940039ec-3ea6-48c7-a0a6-2a9d3b14eefe%2Ejpg Burn but Simic and with Deserts...[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Finance Update w/ Saffron Olive --------------------------------------------------------------- [Norin the Wary](Spiral/Norin+the+Wary#paper) [Waste Not](2015+Core+Set/Waste+Not#paper) [Thada Adel, Acquisitor](Adel+Acquisitor#paper) This week in the world of Magic finance, the biggest gainer was [Norin the Wary](Spiral/Norin+the+Wary#paper) which gained 138% up to $17. Often considered a meme creature thanks to its ability that blinks itself whenever anything happens, the one-drop is now showing up in Modern in a new build of Five-Color Humans focused on [Satoru, the Infiltrator](of+Thunder+Junction/Satoru+the+Infiltrator#paper). Together these cards draw you an extra card each turn, while [Norin the Wary](Spiral/Norin+the+Wary#paper)'s ability to enter the battlefield each turn quickly grows [Champion of the Parish](Decks+Blessed+vs+Cursed/Champion+of+the+Parish#paper) and [Thalia's Lieutenant](2020/Thalias+Lieutenant#paper). At this point it's too early to tell whether this plan is legit or just a case of players trying out new cards, but [Norin the Wary](Spiral/Norin+the+Wary#paper) is a super unique creature and could be broken eventually, even if Satoru isn't the card that ends up doing it. Not to be outdone, the Core Set 2015 printing of [Waste Not](2016/Waste+Not#paper) also more than doubled up this week, increasing 141% to $7. For a long time the community-designed enchantment was mostly an Against the Odds cards, but recently it has evolved into a legit Pioneer staple in Mono-Black Discard. If you need some copies you'll save quite a bit of money by snagging the Enchanted Tales reprint, which is still under $3. Finally in Commander, [Thada Adel, Acquisitor](Adel+Acquisitor#paper) is on the rise gaining 90% up to just under $30. While the ability to (often unblockably, thanks to islandwalk) steal artifacts from your opponents' decks is powerful, before Outlaws of Thunder Junction the Merfolk had few true homes in Commander, but now it's showing up in both [Gonti, Canny Acquisitor (borderless)](of+Thunder+Junction+Commander/Gonti+Canny+Acquisitor-borderless#paper) decks and [Felix Five-Boots (extended)](of+Thunder+Junction+Commander/Felix+Five-Boots-extended#paper) decks. Here it's worth keeping in mind that Thada Adel's current price is partially driven by scarcity - the three-drop is nearly 15 years old and has never been reprinted - at nearly $30 [Thada Adel, Acquisitor](Adel+Acquisitor#paper) seems like an easy include in a future Commander-focused set, and a reprinting would likely crash its price because even with its new Outlaws of Thunder Junction homes, the demand for [Thada Adel, Acquisitor](Adel+Acquisitor#paper) isn't super high. --------------------------------------------------------------- My Favorite Commander Cards from Outlaws of Thunder Junction --------------------------------------------------------------- Tomer shares his favorite Commander cards from OTJ![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Podcast 481: Cowboy Bebop Promos --------------------------------------------------------------- The crew talks Wizards president leaving, some new Cowboy Bebop themed promos, and upcoming Pro Tour and the impact of Outlaws of Thunder...[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Commander Clash Podcast 144: We React to Reddit's Secret Tech --------------------------------------------------------------- Let's see if we can find some hidden gems on Reddit![Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Single Scoop: Mill Finally Got A Huge Power Boost --------------------------------------------------------------- Archive Trap and Surgical Extraction is finally on Arena....MILL IS NOW[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Outlaws of Thunder Junction Removal List --------------------------------------------------------------- Outlaws of Thunder Junction removal by color, rarity, and converted mana cost.[Read more]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Against the Odds: Teaching Arena Zoomers about Mindslaver Locks --------------------------------------------------------------- What's better than controlling your opponent's turn with Mindslaver?
