Can you believe we’re halfway through the year already? Has the all-encompassing existential dread set in for you, too? Just me? Okay, that’s fine. Let’s go over the news for this month before the Hat Man shows up for his nightly visit. Comic of the Month! Today’s comic of the month comes from Kris! It’s the comic of the month because it has boobs in it. Please don’t ask us how old Ariel is. Nobody knows how old she is. Stop asking!!!  Don’t forget to catch up on all the daily comics you missed last month on [Explosm.net](. A few words from the boys: Kris's Update Last month we announced how we’re switching over from weekly short animations to longer animations released whenever we want, plus some bonus content in between. First off, thank you if you’ve been watching the weekly animations for 10+ years! If that was you, I will personally give you one of my kidneys. Don’t worry, I have 12 million of them, so I could stand to lighten the load because I’m taking too many bathroom breaks. Now that we’ve loosened YouTube’s clutches on us, we can finally break out with better and out-of-the-norm stuff. Will it be the exciting conclusion to Half Off Oscar? A new Ted Bear adventure? Or maybe it’s that Waiting For The Bus sequel that Rob snuck into the credits 15 years ago? Maybe it’ll be the next installment of Joe Zombie? Probably not, but I still recommend bothering Rob for a new Joe Zombie. Here’s a sneak peek at some very important work I did today: Anyway, wear sunscreen. Rob's Reviews Hey folks! A quick review of all the summer movies you missed because movie tickets cost $100 now. Furiosa, like most movies this year, didn’t have Mad Max in it. 0/10 stars. Kingdom of the Planet of the Harry Potter and the Revenge of the Apes was a stunning, unflinching look at what could happen to the world if CGI took over. Very frightening! 5 out of 3 stars. Civil War was pretty enjoyable until one of the characters accidentally got hurt, which made me feel bad and dislike the whole idea of war. 2 out of 20 stars. They made another Kung Fu Panda movie but nobody watched it, and all of the footage was subsequently burned. Dave's Update It is the summertime, so what better time to squirrel yourself indoors like the troglodyte you are and play some neat video games? After the recent excellent reveal of the new Doom game (Doom: The Dark Ages) I have been returning to Doom Eternal to get my ass beat in nightmare mode by big tall scary lads with skulls for faces. I know we all technically have a skull for a face but these guys don’t have any parts to their face other than a skull, if you catch my drift. Nightmare mode has caused me to scream and claw my face so much that now I resemble a Doom Eternal demon. Here’s my new passport photo: Music-wise, I’ve been spending a lot of time finishing up my metal band’s first album! We are Petrified Giant, composed of myself (guitar riffs, songwriting), Lyle Wrath of OneyPlays fame (scorching leads), and the incredible Mardy Leith of Dragoncorpse fame on the vox. We’ve got a corker of an album ready to release and I can’t wait for you to hear it! We’re clearing things out! We’ve moved some merchandise to clearance – get things while they’re still available! Things are going fast, and won’t be restocked! [SHOP NOW!]( Don't forget – we love to hear from our fans on [Discord](! Tell us all about how your year is going. Any ominous noises outside your window at night? I hope not.  Yours forever, Man Bat.  P.S. Seriously, some people left me last month and I can’t go through that again. Please stay.
