Hey Friend- How are you doing? My three older kids are at the pool with a babysitter and my younger two are napping at my neighbor’s house, so I have a brief window of time to catch up on work, wipe down the kitchen counter, and maybe throw in a load of laundry (but with FIVE kids the laundry never stops...).
Do you have a minute or two for a story?
I was just thinking about the time that I fell in love with freezer meals...It was probably 2012 and I was walking through the grocery store, checking off my list, when I noticed that all-natural chicken breasts were on sale. I wondered if there was a way to stock up now, so we could save money over the next few months.
My mind started turning since I’d been working on creating some freezer meals. I felt like I could definitely make recipes that didn’t require any extra cooking, were healthy, and by buying the chicken on sale, saving me money at the same time. Â
I ended up buying 10 pounds of chicken breasts and turning them into 10 freezer meals for the crockpot. I saved $30 and stocked our freezer with healthy meals to enjoy for months. Amazing, right?  Â
