LaMalfa finally agreed to attend a candidate forum Hi {NAME}, Doug LaMalfa finally agreed to attend a candidate forum run by the League of Women Voters of Butte County. The event will be this Thursday via Zoom (Doug refused to do an in-person event.) The event will start at 7:00 pm, with the first hour dedicated to Assembly District 3 (Zink vs. Gallagher). The Congressional District 1 portion should start around 8:00 pm. Obviously, if you're in AD-3, you should watch the whole thing, but the northern part of CD-1 can log on for the second half. For background, the League had originally asked us to confirm our participation in August, but LaMalfa didn't get back to them until the very end of September. Better late than never, I guess. (Or, more likely, he saw that I was slamming him on TV ads for refusing to debate and decided that he needed to do the bare minimum: a Zoom Forum.) The Zoom information follows: League of Women Voters Butte County Candidate Forum Assembly District 3 and Congressional District 1 When: Oct 20, 2022 07:00 PM PT Click the link below to join the webinar: [( Or One tap mobile: US: +16694449171,,81369620782# or +16699006833,,81369620782# Webinar ID: 813 6962 0782 I hope you can log on, and feel free to pass this information onto your friends! The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
