We're looking to assist Nassau Community College in navigating this challenging fiscal climate [ Hey {NAME}, At the end of January we announced our latest audit! We’re looking to assist Nassau Community College in navigating this challenging fiscal climate, with the collaboration and cooperation of the President of the Community College, Jermaine Williams. During this audit we’ll be looking into the fund balance and overall financial condition in order to identify options to enhance long-term financial sustainability while also continuing our ongoing countywide work on related party policies and controls (nepotism). [PRESS RELEASE]( Our County’s community college is a key resource to so many, and we need to ensure we’re supporting the needs of the students, faculty, staff, and all Nassau County residents. As the current presidential administration works toward the mission of helping equip students with the best education and resources possible to grow their careers, we want to make sure the college is accessible, affordable, and sustainable. The current pandemic has left a strain on our community. And so now more than ever we need to make sure that our students leave our schools with a solid foundation for success and a credential of economic value that helps them become civically engaged, contributing and critically thinking members of their communities. We’re looking forward to sharing our results on this audit as the Biden administration continues to roll out funding and support for community colleges across the country. Together we can make sure that students get the best education they can!
