We know all eyes are on Georgia now. And so many of us want to help. We’re itching to jump in and do whatever it takes to secure the two Senate seats that Democrats need and to give the Biden Administration the political power that progressive change requires. So what can we do? We can listen to the folks on the ground. And let them lead. In Georgia, groups like New Georgia Project, Fair Fight, Georgia STAND-UP, SONG Power, GALEO and so many others have been putting in the hard work of organizing their communities, educating voters, and building coalitions for progressive policy -- for years. It’s because of them that Georgia went blue. These groups are doubling down as we move towards the runoffs on Jan. 5. And the very best thing those of us who want to help can do -- especially those of us from outside the state -- is make sure these advocates, activists, community leaders and local voices have the resources they need to get the job done. Not sure how to support them? Take these three quick steps today to get started. - DONATE. These organizers need resources to support their incredible efforts. [Donate here to split a contribution between the groups leading the effort on the ground in GA](. - PICK UP A VOLUNTEER SHIFT. Groups like [Fair Fight Action]( [New Georgia Project]( [GALEO]( and [Black Voters Matter]( have phonebanks, textbanks, and other critical efforts going on around the clock. Visit their sites and sign up today. - SEND SUPPLIES. Political organizing in the midst of a global pandemic is no small feat. Workers and volunteers need PPE and other bad-weather supplies to ensure they can safely talk to voters and mobilize the coalition we need on the ground. [Check out their wishlist and send needed supplies today.]( Too often, political parties fall into the trap of organizing top-down, not ground-up. We know this model doesn’t work. We know that real party-building happens in neighborhoods, hometowns, main drags, and city corners across the country. We know that no one knows a community -- or its voters -- better than the men and women who live and work and play and fight there every single day. Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are counting on these Georgia organizers over the next six weeks. And that means we’ve got to back them up however we can and however they need. Complete these three quick steps today. More soon, Joe P.S. Know an incredible local group that we missed? Or have an idea for another innovative way to help that isn’t listed above? Reach out and let us know! We’d love to share with the team. --------------------------------------------------------------- Our future, our democracy and our humanity are on the line. Joe Kennedy wants to use the platform he's built to support Democratic candidates, build a diverse and inclusive future for our Party, and help take our country back. But he can only do that with you by his side.
