We had to share the incredible impact of this community’s support around World Wish Day >> Wow,

We had to share the incredible impact of this community’s support around World Wish Day >> [Make-A-Wish]( [Give Now]( Wow, Friend. I’m speaking for everyone here at Make-A-Wish when I say that we are filled with gratitude for this incredible and generous community. This April - in honor of World Wish Day® - more than 7,000 social media posts and messages of hope were sent, more than 50 community events were held by chapters around the country, and more than 40,000 supporters contributed to help make wishes come true. All of that means that we’re going to be able to grant hundreds of life-changing wishes for kids when they need it most! We set some ambitious goals for World Wish Day, and supporters like you came through to help us reach them. Now, more children like Khushi are going to experience the transformational impact of a wish. [Thank you for making my wish come true!]( You see, wishes are so much more than a fun day and happy memories. [Physicians overwhelmingly agree that wishes can help improve a child’s quality of life and even produce better health outcomes – increasing their odds of overcoming their critical illness.]( They’re a necessary part of a child’s treatment and recovery journey. [That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly to grant over 550,000 wishes since our mission started back in 1980.]( But every 20 minutes, another child is diagnosed with a critical illness – making our work as urgent as it’s ever been. By stepping up in moments like World Wish Day, you’re helping us get closer to a world where we can grant a wish for every child fighting a critical illness. And you’re helping us make sure that no child has to wait even one unnecessary day for the hope, joy and strength that only a wish can provide. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all you do. [Leslie Motter]( Leslie Motter President & CEO, Make-A-Wish America P.S. Don’t worry if you didn’t get a chance to make a gift in honor of World Wish Day. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
