Weâre approaching our busiest wish-granting season of the year, and we need your help. Did you see our email sharing the story of Rosie’s incredibly heartfelt wish? This generous 7-year-old wished to donate toys to the hospital where she underwent cancer treatments – selflessly using her wish to spread joy, hope and strength to other kids like her who are growing up with critical illnesses. Without the generosity of supporters like you, Rosie’s wish wouldn’t have been possible. Subject: Her wish changed lives … [Make-A-Wish]( [Give Now](
[Will you join wish kid Rosie and help more wishes come true?]( In a moment, we’ll ask you to read about a courageous wish kid named Rosie – whose story is one of bravery, resilience and heartfelt generosity. But before we do, we have to ask you this: Every day, 72 kids like Rosie get the news that they have a critical illness – and we rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you to provide them with the much-needed hope and strength of a wish. [So please, will you make a gift now to help grant wishes for those 72 kids?]( When Rosie was on a field trip, she fell unexpectedly ill and was rushed to the hospital. There, she received a devastating diagnosis that no child or their families should have to hear: She had cancer. Typically a bubbly and energetic 7-year-old, Rosie had a lot of trouble adjusting to her illness. She hated feeling so tired and weak. But toys donated to the hospital where she was receiving treatment became a source of comfort and joy, helping her push through the toughest moments of her treatment. Finally, Rosie was declared cancer-free, and she was given a wish to kick off the next chapter of her life with celebration and positivity. She knew immediately that she wanted to use her wish to help other kids like her who were still going through difficult treatments. ['I never realized how tough of a kid she is, and my heart broke every day, seeing her go through all that and doing it with such grace and composure.' - Rosie's mom, Janelle]( The hospital where Rosie was a patient had a list of donation requests, so she used her wish to give them as many toys off of the list as she could! On her wish day, Rosie towed a wagon-load of dolls toward the hospital – where she personally delivered the toys to her favorite doctors and nurses. And just as they did for her during treatment, these toys are now helping kids just like her as they continue to face the toughest days of their critical illness. Rosie's wish shows how a wish can change countless lives – from providing joy to wish kids and their families to transforming entire communities (or in Rosie’s case – hospitals!). Every wish is as unique as the child who dreams it. And your support is what makes them come true. [That’s why, in honor of Rosie’s wish to pay it forward for kids growing up with critical illnesses, we’re counting on you to join her in her support by making a donation now toward granting more life-changing wishes for kids like Rosie.]( [Donate $50]( [Donate $100]( [Donate $150]( [Donate Another Amount]( Thank you for helping us change lives through the power of a wish.
