This National Cancer Survivors Day, I want to introduce you to Daniel

By the end of the day, 47 more kids like Daniel will be diagnosed with cancer – a diagnosis that no child or family is prepared to hear. Daniel found out he had cancer at just 2 years old, when his lymph node became swollen. Because of complications with his biopsy, his tumor grew significantly before he was finally able to begin treatments. His family was anxious and scared, and Daniel didn’t quite understand what was going on. We put together a special card today for wish kids like Daniel facing cancer in honor of National Cancer Survivors Day, and our goal is to collect at least 470 signatures in honor of the 47 children diagnosed each day. He wished for animal toys and a tablet. Now, he uses them every day, going back and forth from the hospital. At his wish reveal, he was so happy and overwhelmed with gifts that he couldn’t even speak.
