I want to serve our communities by uplifting the next generation of Black leadership, not just through helping elect Black women – one of my lifelong goals and missions – but also through helping young Black leaders take the stage and advocate for the needs of our youth. I can think of no person more ready to fight for Black and brown youth than Maxwell Frost, the first Gen Z member of Congress and another fighter for what our youth need. That’s why I’m hosting a joint fundraising event with Maxwell.
