Join me and Maxwell Frost for a joint fundraising event next Tuesday! [Representative Maxwell Frost and I are hosting a virtual event next Tuesday on multi-generational Black leadership, and I'd love for you to join – you can RSVP by clicking here.]( In my role as the First Vice Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, I often reflect about what that demands of me as a leader and how I can best serve the values and needs of Black and brown communities – both in Brooklyn and across the country. I want to serve our communities by uplifting the next generation of Black leadership, not just through helping elect Black women – one of my lifelong goals and missions – but also through helping young Black leaders take the stage and advocate for the needs of our youth. I can think of no person more ready to fight for Black and brown youth than Maxwell Frost, the first Gen Z member of Congress and another fighter for what our youth need. That’s why I’m hosting a joint fundraising event with Maxwell. I want to get both of us ready for 2024, and I'd also like to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing our multi-generational leadership in Congress. [We’re discussing the past and future of Black leadership, and I want you to be there, {NAME}. RSVP to get your ticket here.]( [RSVP TODAY »]( I look forward to seeing many of you Tuesday evening! – Yvette D. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
