We’re building for the long haul, and we need you with us. {NAME},  Today is Giving Tuesday, and I’m writing to ask you to invest in the future of Arkansas with a contribution to Vortex.  We are doing something that has never been done in our state. Never before has an organization directly organized Democrats to win over every federal seat representing Arkansas in Washington by recruiting ordinary Arkansans rooted in community and ready to lead.  With your generous support so far, we’ve accomplished an incredible amount in less than 10 months. Now that we have a FULL SLATE of candidates for the U.S. House of Representatives on the Democratic ticket, we have to build – and we are building for the long haul.  For the next year, we will be hands on supporting all four campaigns with training, access to experts, volunteer recruitment, and elevating their message to the widest audience possible. But that’s just the beginning.  We have plans to run TV ads, radio spots, send mailers, put up billboards, and run the biggest voter mobilization drive Arkansas has ever seen.  We’ll be working in ALL 75 counties, training the staff and volunteers we need not only for our current candidates to succeed, but for the next generation of political leaders and organizers to come.  That’s a tall order, and we need a lot of resources to make it work. So I’m asking you to dig deep today.  I want you to think about how much you would give to break Arkansas free from the death-grip of right-wing extremism. Put a number on that, and make that contribution to Vortex right now. Yes, I absolutely do. Recent election results show that the voters are trending in our favor.  Voters in states that went for Trump have elected Democrats up and down the ballot and turned out in droves to demand their states protect reproductive freedoms, among other things.  That echoes what I saw in my own campaign last year. People all across Arkansas are hungry for change, and Republicans keep serving up empty promises.  This is not about blue states and red states. This is about voters who are fed up with Republicans who don’t represent their interests, choosing Democrats who do.  For too long our beautiful state has been controlled by a tyrannical far-right minority. It’s time to shake them off.  I believe Arkansas is worth fighting for, and I think you do, too. Next year, we’re going to prove it.  Let’s go!  Chris Jones [Contribute to Vortex >>](      Vortex PAC is a new grassroots movement to transform Arkansas politics away from the far-right.
