...and she’s not the only one. {NAME},  Word on the street is that our governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, is moving up the ranks in the veepstakes to be Trump’s running mate this year.  That’s no shock to any of us here in Arkansas. It’s been apparent from Day One of her administration that Sanders views her time in the governor’s mansion as a springboard back into national politics.  And we’re not the only ones who’ve noticed. [A graphic featuring a headline from Politico that reads: “A Governor Who Doesn’t Seem to Have Much Interest in Governing Arkansas. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ increasing number of critics think she’s too worried about her national profile.” Included is an illustration of a scowling Sarah Huckabee Sanders gripping the top of the Arkansas State Capitol building and removing the Arkansas state flag to be replaced with a Trump 2024 campaign flag. The entire image is in black and white except the Trump flag.]( A recent exposé by POLITICO highlighted Sanders for her propensity to grandstand for national politics, control media access to limit criticisms of her work, and chase extremely radical, far-right policies that virtually no one in the state supports – not even her voting base or her fellow elected Republicans.  From Politico: “I don’t know how many people I’ve had say to me, had I known what [state government] was going to look like under Gov. Sanders, I wouldn’t have voted for her,” said state Rep. Jim Wooten, one of the few Republicans to vote against the LEARNS Act, citing the “disdain” Sanders and the Legislature had shown toward public education.  I’ve said it before: What happens in Arkansas doesn’t stay in Arkansas.  Given half the chance, Sanders would gladly export her Trumpian right-wing radical views straight out of Little Rock onto the national stage.  And she’s got four men from Arkansas sitting in the House, ready to back her up – even if that means stealing the next election for Trump.  ALL FOUR of the House representatives for Arkansas have a clear voting record that aligns with Trump. If our governor is Trump’s running mate, are you CERTAIN they won’t follow Trump’s orders to overthrow the election results?  I’m not.  [Each one of our current representatives votes in line with the MAGA agenda more than 90% of the time. Vortex candidates won’t.
