Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was [arrested during a court appearance]( on Tuesday, sparking protests. A senior official with his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party said he was dragged from the Islamabad High Court by security agents, shoved into an armored vehicle and taken away. About [4,000 of his supporters]( stormed the official residence of the top regional commander in Lahore following the arrest. China and Canada are continuing a diplomatic spat, with Beijing expelling Canada's consul in Shanghai on Tuesday after Ottawa sent home a Chinese diplomat a day before, who was accused of trying to intimidate a Canadian MP. The Metropolitan Police in the UK is [facing criticism]( for its handling of anti-monarchy protests during the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday. In London, 64 people were arrested, and many â including opposition lawmakers and human rights groups â have accused security forces of taking a heavy-handed approach.
