Among the officials removed were those from the US, UK and France. Sudanese nationals are still trying to flee the fighting between two top generals in the capital, Khartoum, but many people are unable to leave. Meanwhile, the UN announced that the head of its mission, Volker Perthes, will [remain in the country](, as hundreds of its staff and aid workers reached Port Sudan for evacuation. Kenya Kenyan police have [exhumed dozens bodies](near the coastal town of Malindi. They are investigating a preacher who is said to have told his followers to starve to death to “meet Jesus.” Paul Makenzie Nthenge of the Good News International Church is in custody, pending a court appearance. State broadcaster KBC has described him as a "cult leader" and reported that [58 graves have been identified]( so far. Nthenge has denied the charges, insisting that he shut down his church in 2019. Mexico Around 3,000 migrants began a [mass protest procession]( on Sunday through southern Mexico to demand reforms to the way migrants are treated at detention centers, like the one in which 40 people died in a fire last month. The march includes people from Central America, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia. They started from the city of Tapachula near the Guatemalan border and say they hope to reach Mexico City.
