At least 19 people have died and 27 were wounded in another [suicide bombing]( in the Afghan capital. The blast at an education institute went off in the predominantly Shia Muslim neighborhood of Dasht-e-Barchi, home to the minority Hazara community. Most of the dead were [young women]( who were preparing for an exam. No one has claimed responsibility yet, but similar attacks have been carried out by ISIS militants at mosques and schools. Uganda
At least 31 cases of Ebola have been recorded in a new outbreak in Uganda, with six deaths so far, all of them health workers, though the Health Ministry says the death toll could be higher. This new Sudan strain [does not have an approved vaccine]( like the more common Zaire strain, which was responsible for the largest ever outbreak of Ebola that killed more than 11,00 people in West Africa between 2013 and 2016. But President Yoweri Museveni has [ruled out lockdowns]( and other restrictions to movement despite the outbreak. Pacific Islands Summit
US President Joe Biden is hosting the first [Pacific Island summit]( this week. Itâs an attempt to increase US engagement and investments in the region to counter China's growing military and economic influence there. Fourteen nations signed onto a partnership agreement with the US that includes collaboration on climate change, economic growth and stronger security ties, with Washington announcing [$810 million in financial support](. The White House also said it would recognize Niue and Cook Islands as sovereign states. The dome-shaped room for two guests is located near a hillside in rural Sussex county. The sleep tech company Emma Sleep created the "Shleep Sanctuary" â which will open next summer â after a poll of 2,000 adults found that 44% have struggled to get proper sleep this year.
