The charges followed a speech Khan gave in Islamabad on Saturday in which he vowed to sue police officers and a female judge and alleged that a close aide had been tortured after his arrest. Khan could face several years in prison from the new charges. Mexico Federal prosecutors said Friday they have arrested Jesús Murillo Karam, the attorney general in Mexico’s previous administration on charges he committed abuses in the investigation of the 2014 [disappearances of 43 students]( from a teachers' college. Murillo Karam claimed in 2014 that the students had been killed by members of a drug gang, but the mishandled investigation allowed most of the suspects to walk free. Russia Russia’s top counterintelligence agency on Monday blamed Ukrainian spy services for organizing the killing of Daria Dugina, 29, in a car bombing just outside Moscow.
