The Razoni, a Sierra Leone-flagged cargo ship, is expected to dock at the entrance of the Bosphorus Strait on Tuesday, where it will undergo inspections by a joint team from Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish and UN officials. This is the first grain shipment since the war in Ukraine started. Sanctions imposed on Russia and a raging conflict in eastern Ukraine [have prevented]( export ships from leaving the ports safely. The war in Ukraine has led to a food and energy crisis with the UN warning of a risk of famine in different parts of the world. Taiwan House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is in Singapore in the first stop of her tour of Asia, which will also include Malaysia, South Korea and Japan. There are speculations in Taiwanese media, including The United Daily News, China Times and pro-ruling party newspaper Liberty Times, that Pelosi [will visit Taiwan]( on Tuesday after visiting Malaysia and spend the night. Her visit would likely elicit an angry response from China, which considers Taiwan to be a breakaway province and objects to all acts that could be seen as support for Taiwan as an independent sovereign state. Lebanon Thursday will mark two years since the deadly blast at Beirut’s port — considered the world’s biggest nonnuclear explosion — and there [hasn’t been anyone]( held accountable in the country's probe into the negligent storage of dangerous chemicals. Over the weekend, grain storage silos at the port, which were damaged during the explosion that killed 200 people, [partially collapsed](after being consumed by fire for weeks. Many in Lebanon blame government corruption and mismanagement for the tragedy, but the political elite's stronghold on power is believed to be an impediment for justice. Some of those charged in the investigation were reelected to Parliament earlier this year. --------------------------------------------------------------- From The World [Humanitarian rescue boat stranded in Spanish port over ‘administrative persecution,’ NGO says]( [The Open Arms Uno, recently acquired by the Barcelona-based, nongovernmental organization, Open Arms, has a hospital, 26 hospital beds, four, semirigid inflatable boats, and a landing strip for a helicopter, and there’s room for over 1,000 people.]( Credit: Alan Ruiz Terol/The World Open Arms, a sea rescue nongovernmental organization, has a new vessel with a hospital and room for over 1,000 people, but says Spain is using bureaucracy to [block its departure](.
