So, this morning it hit me…we are just 15 days from Brand Accelerator Live and I’m super stoked for this event. Nervous, Excited, Anxious...etc But, this morning I wanted to share something with you that made my wife cry on Saturday. And to be honest, I started to tear up too, which for me doesn’t happen much :-) I was sharing with her the story I plan to tell during my SPECIAL project reveal at BAL and what I want people to take away from the story. Basically, I was going back in time to when I was 24 years old and we just had our son, Scotty and he was just 2 months old. Life was pretty amazing, because I was working at my Father’s construction company and I thought I would own it one day. LIFE WAS AWESOME! But, then something happened that would change my life forever. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a normal Friday and I was heading back to our company office to drop off the company truck. As I pulled in I seen my Wife, Lisa standing at the front doors crying...balling her eyes out. I quickly parked the truck and before I even had time to get out, she ran up to me and said these words that I’ll never forget. SHE’S GONE…SHE’S GONE...SHE'S GONE! And I’m like…calm down, calm down... who's gone? At first all I could think about was my 3 year old daughter Alexis and all the crazy thoughts going through my head. Then she said though the tears…your mom, she’s gone. I was in SHOCK! I’ll never forget that day and the feeling of loss of losing something so important to you. My Mom, Joan was only 50 years old. She passed in her sleep from a heart attack and knowing she passed in her sleep was a blessing. The GOOD NEWS! My Mother taught me so much over my life, but the one lesson she also taught me from losing her was the life is too short. From that day forward, I knew I wanted to create a way to support my family, without be locked down to a desk or a job. But, it took me another 2 years before I was able to make that a reality, where my wife and I became full time photographers and self employed. Looking back now, I’ve identified this as a Take Action Moment that was a critical part of my journey. Think about your own life for a minute and a moment that changed your life. As I was sharing this with my wife, she was sad from that awful day, but also very happy that we have been able to build businesses around our life to raise our kids together. What does this mean for you? Well, a couple things. If you are unhappy in your current situation, Take Action and change it. Build a business that supports your lifestyle. Think back in time of your own life and identify a moment that changed your life in one way or another. I call these Take Action moments. If you are attending [Brand Accelerator LIVE]( I have a full session that teaches how to identify these and adopt the Take Action mindset in your life. This is part of my secret project and I'm super excited to share it with all attendees. It's going to be AMAZING! Yes, my mother passed way too young and some would look at only the negative...and I did too for awhile. But, it also taught me to figure out a way to never miss out on life’s moments and never live in regret. Life' TOO Short! This is why I’m obsessed with helping others build businesses/brands that supports their future and freedom. It’s also WHY I’m excited for Brand Accelerator Live in just 15 days, where I plan to help driven people create their ultimate future proof business. So, little reminder... If you haven’t grabbed a ticket yet…there’s a handful left, but ticket sales will be ending September 6th regardless. [Brand Accelerator Live Limited Tickets (Last Call)]( If you have any questions, reply to this email and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. I’ll be working on my presentations all week :-) I hope this story I shared opens your eyes to how powerful Take Action moments are in our lives and how to use them to drive your actions. YOU are in control of your future. Take care and as always…Take Action! Scott P.S. If you’ve been on the fence about attending Brand Accelerator LIVE, this is your final chance to grab a ticket.
