Over the past week I’ve realized that the people/businesses that put in the work and think long term…are compensated very...very WELL! I see two different types of camps people are in most of the time. Camp #1 Hurry up and wait for the money to roll in. Now, it’s not really their fault…because there’s so much talk about throwing up products on Amazon and you’ll be a successful business. The BIG problem with this is…they are not really building a business. Now, if they start on Amazon and then build outside assets, like blog traffic, Youtube traffic, email list building etc… That’s a different story, because they have their own assets to use for selling products on and off one platform. But, this camp is at RISK and I think you would agree...Right? Camp #2 Slow…Steady and Diversified These businesses are thinking long term (2 to 5 years) and are creating assets that will allow them to compete in categories newbies won’t. They are also creating these assets that would allow them sell for up to 5X more than a single channel business. Plus, more ways to monetize their traffic through various sources. They also understand that outside traffic will allow them to BOOST sales on Amazon if they want and out rank their competition. They also know that once they are getting traffic from their blog or youtube channel they can run ads or sponsored posts for an additional revenue stream. WHY Don’t People Do THIS? Because it takes Work...Time and Patience. I didn’t even mention paid advertising like Facebook ads that allow them to re-target their audience and potentially sell or get more traffic to their blog/website. I want you to ask yourself this question. What camp are you in? Are you in this for the LONG TERM? Are you willing to PUT IN THE WORK? I know first hand from working with my [Inner Circle]( members that even though you may be successful on Amazon, you’re probably not doing this stuff. Here’s my simple framework I share with my Inner Circle members and you can follow it too. Market Attention -Where is your market hanging out? Examples: Youtube - Facebook - Google Search Be Helpful -What content could help your market? Example: Search Google and Youtube for topics Build BOND (Relationship) -How could you show up every week and deliver value? Examples: Videos - Written Blog Posts - Facebook Posts - Email - Podcasting Plan and Commit -Create a plan to show up every week and become the BEST resource on the internet about your market. I know it seems like a ton of work, but if you sit down and plan it out…one bite size piece at a time…YOU CAN DO IT! Put in the work TODAY and Receive the REWARDS later OK, so let’s dive into this week’s TAS Content Podcast Episodes Monday: [TAS 581: ATTENTION: Amazon Sellers At Risk by THEIFS – Fake Reviews and Multiple Accounts and MORE]( Wednesday: [TAS 582: How To Get MEDIA ATTENTION for Your BRAND with Christina Nicholson]( Friday: [TAS 583: Ask Scott #182 – What Is Best Ways To Get Content Ideas to Attract My Customers?]( The Amazing Seller TV (Youtube) Wednesday: [How To Grow and Protect Your Ecommerce BRAND?
