[] Happy holidays!

May everyone have a wonderful holiday season! Stay safe!
[] New feature: Remember the Zoom Setting
A long-requested feature was recently added to Outlook 365: Outlook now remembers your zoom level preference.
To set the zoom level for reading messages, click on the zoom % in the status bar or look for the Zoom button on the Message menu in an opened message
In the opened Zoom While Reading dialog, tick the box to Remember my preference.
Outlook will now remember your zoom setting when reading mail.
Note: This is only available to Office 365 subscribers.
If you don't use Outlook 365, I have macros at [Adjusting Outlook's Zoom Setting in Email]( that will adjust the zoom when you view a message.
[] Remove old Outlook.com Aliases from the From menu
A user complained that he removed a few Outlook.com aliases and EASI accounts from his Microsoft account, but they remained listed with his other accounts in the From menu in Outlook 2016.
When you have aliases on your Outlook.com account and use Outlook 2016, the aliases are listed on the From menu, under the account addresses. However, when you delete an alias from your Microsoft account, it is not automatically removed from the menu.
In File, Account Settings, open the account settings dialog. Double click on the account and click next to update the account. If this doesn't remove the no-longer valid aliases, you will need to remove the account from your profile and add it back.
[] Forwarding email in Outlook on the web
A user was looking for a way to forward multiple email messages in one message in Outlook on the web:
It would be nice if outlook will let you select multiple messages from Inbox to send as attachments. I have had the need to do it several times ended up forwarding to another email I use and then forwarded it.
While Outlook installed on the desktop has always allowed you to select multiple messages and click Forward to send them as an attachment in one message, Outlook on the web doesn’t have this option.
However, you can attach multiple messages to one email.
- Click New message.
- Drag the messages you want to forward to the new message form and drop. (If you aren’t careful, you’ll view the messages instead of selecting them. If it’s a problem for you, pop the new message out into a separate window.)
- The messages will be added as attachments.
This works in both Outlook.com and Outlook on the web business accounts.
[] Calendar Update Notifications
An Outlook user was receiving unwanted email notifications when she updated calendar events.
When I reschedule an appointment in my calendar, Outlook sends me an email. I assume it converts it to a meeting and that is why sends me an email on changes. How can I stop it from sending these disturbing emails to me?
No, its not converting it to a meeting. This is a feature in Outlook.com. You receive an email notification for changes in a shared calendar so you don’t miss updates someone modifies an appointment.
The setting for this is on Calendar options, under Shared Calendars, Calendar updates (in the classic interface
