We must ensure Congress passes the Momnibus Act ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Nikema for Congress]( {NAME}, we need your support right now. Yesterday, Congresswoman Nikema Williams helped reintroduce the Momnibus Act – a vital piece of legislation that pushes for better equity in pre- and post-natal health care for Black women. For far too long, Black women have faced unspeakable trauma during their pregnancies. From the inability to access quality health care, to discrepancies in care from doctors, Black women have had to fight harder to make sure they don’t just thrive during their pregnancies but survive. That’s why this Momnibus Act is so important. This piece of legislation would help deliver life-saving care to Black mothers through: - Growing and diversifying the perinatal workforce, - Funding community-based organizations that are doing the work on the ground to improve maternal health outcomes, - Making critical investments in social determinants of health, like housing, transportation, and nutrition, that influence maternal health outcomes, - And so much more. Unfortunately, we’re up against a GOP-led House who would rather cut funding for our mothers in need than uplift them during this critical moment. This issue is personal to Congresswoman Williams, {NAME}, but we need to show the GOP just how personal it is to you, too. [Will you sign your name to our petition today to ensure black women in America receive the care and attention they need in one of the most critical times of their lives? →]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( In this together, Team Nikema for Congress As the proud Congresswoman for Georgia’s Fighting Fifth, the cradle of the Civil Rights movement, Nikema Williams has always been a fearless advocate for working families, Reproductive Freedom, Voting Rights, and closing the racial wealth gap. With the GOP threatening our rights and cutting funding from Social Security, Medicare, and so much more, we need advocates like Nikema in office now more than ever. Will you help keep Nikema in Congress fighting for the policies that matter to working people across Georgia and help stave off the GOP's attack on our rights by donating whatever you can afford today?
