It’s already been too long without federal protections ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Nikema for Congress]( {NAME}, today is a solemn anniversary. One year ago, Roe v. Wade was overturned, ending decades of legal precedent for constitutional abortion protections. The Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson had a devastating impact on women’s health. Dobbs opened the floodgates for restrictive abortion bans across the country. The GOP has placed our lives at risk, especially those with underlying health conditions who can no longer access essential reproductive healthcare services. As a Black woman living with endometriosis, I know firsthand just how dangerous placing barriers to healthcare can be for those with conditions like mine. I also know how the damaging effects of abortion bans disproportionately affect communities of color. Post-Roe bans have compounded already existing health disparities for marginalized communities, who face higher rates of maternal mortality and limited access to reproductive care. {NAME}, there’s too much at stake for us to give up on the legacy of Roe v. Wade. [Congress must act to codify abortion protections and return autonomy over our own bodies. Will you sign my petition demanding Congress pass the Women’s Health Protection Act so GOP-controlled state legislatures can’t undermine our reproductive rights?]( [ADD YOUR NAME]( I hope you'll join me, Nikema Williams As the proud Congresswoman for Georgia’s Fighting Fifth, the cradle of the Civil Rights movement, Nikema Williams has always been a fearless advocate for working families, Reproductive Freedom, Voting Rights, and closing the racial wealth gap. With the GOP threatening our rights and cutting funding from Social Security, Medicare, and so much more, we need advocates like Nikema in office now more than ever. Will you help keep Nikema in Congress fighting for the policies that matter to working people across Georgia and help stave off the GOP's attack on our rights by donating whatever you can afford today?
