Nikema is striving every day to stop the reckless GOP agenda in Congress, and deliver real results for everyday Americans in need, but she can’t keep up the fight without you. From reproductive healthcare, to trans rights, to gun violence prevention, and so much more, Nikema won’t back down. [Will you take a moment to read Nikema’s message and then chip in $1 to help us hit our goal? We have until midnight and need to make these final moments count.]( [RUSH YOUR DONATION]( Thanks, Team Williams -Original Message- This is a crucial time for Black mothers, {NAME}. Earlier this month, we observed Black Maternal Health Week, and I want to share how this issue is personal to me. As a woman with endometriosis, I’m well aware of how life-changing reproductive care can be. As a Black mother to my beautiful seven-year-old boy, I’m even more aware of harrowing statistics that show people like me as having increased maternal mortality risks. What’s even more stunning to me is how the GOP is worsening these statistics by restricting access to reproductive health care. With the recent ruling by a conservative Texas judge banning mifepristone, the most common form of abortion care in America, the consequences are clear and deadly. Maternal mortality already disproportionately affects Black mothers, and a ban like this could lead to an almost 40% increase. For now, the Supreme Court has upheld the use of mifepristone, but it’s still under threat. Reproductive health care is a human right, {NAME}, and we can’t let GOP-appointed judges strip that right away from us. [Will you join the fight to guarantee federal protections for reproductive health care by donating $1 before our critical deadline tonight at midnight? We need the legislature to take up the fight for reproductive justice.]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: [$1 »]( [$5 »]( [$10 »]( [$25 »]( [$50 »]( [OTHER »]( I'm with you, Nikema Williams As the proud Congresswoman for Georgia’s Fighting Fifth, the cradle of the Civil Rights movement, Nikema Williams has always been a fearless advocate for working families, Reproductive Freedom, Voting Rights, and closing the racial wealth gap. With the GOP threatening our rights and cutting funding from Social Security, Medicare, and so much more, we need advocates like Nikema in office now more than ever. Will you help keep Nikema in Congress fighting for the policies that matter to working people across Georgia and help stave off the GOP's attack on our rights by donating whatever you can afford today?
