A few people have asked me in the past few days: Are you still going to write? The truth is, I can't not write.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [BLOG |]( [PRIMAL KITCHEN |]( [PRIMAL BLUEPRINT]( [Mark Sisson with Coffee Cup]( Good morning, everybody. A few people have asked me in the past few days: Are you still going to write? I can't not write. Growing up, I found solace in the written word. As an introvert (believe it or not), I've always leaned on my ability to put pen to paper (or fingers to keys) and transmit ideas. That way I could still communicate without the added exertion of being out there in front of people. I like that, too, but I can't do it all the time. Writing recharges me when the in-person demands of running a business and being a speaker are draining. I write for me as much as for you. Whatever I do, it's scratching an itch I can't shake, meeting a need that isn't met elsewhere. That goes for Primal Kitchen® (I hated making mayo on demand but didn't have a good packaged option, so I created one), Primal Fuel (all the other whey proteins were low-fat, high-sugar, or laced with artificial sweeteners, so I made one with coconut milk and stevia), and the Primal Blueprint itself (conventional wisdom was destroying me, so I upended it). It turns out that when you have a problem, others probably have the same problem. And when you fix the problem, other people want the same solution. Writing is the same. The information I present is meant to assist you in your health journey, sure, but the act of writing is also a selfish one. So, long story short, I'll still be writing. Coming in October 2019 is my next book. [The Keto Reset Diet]( did so well that they've asked me to write a follow-up, this time focusing on the topic of longevity. Everyone wants to live longer and (especially) live better, no matter who you are. Given the opportunity, even diehard nihilists would prefer to live longer than not, particularly if those extra years are spent in a state of vitality rather than decrepitude. My book, which I'm well on the way to finishing, will show you how to take advantage of that opportunity using the latest, greatest diet, lifestyle, and training practices. I'll still be blogging, too. The blog is my canvas for trying out new ideas, floating experiments, coming up with hypotheses, and thinking out loud in front of a discerning audience. It keeps my mind sharp, keeps me on my toes, and hones my voice. It's my direct conduit to you, the readers, who call me out when I need it and point out the flaws in my arguments and champion my successes. If you guys like it, I know I'm on the right track. It's the heart and soul of the Primal movement, and it's how I got started on this path. I'm not stopping. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and thanks for being with me here. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
