We can tell you this much: our Kalinda private label hooks you up with awesome wine at a fraction of what you'd otherwise pay for this exact same wine under its normal label. While we have to remain quiet about the source of this beauty, we can tell you that it sells elsewhere at a much higher premium. Get it while it lasts.

A delightful summertime white--the perfect "poolside sipper." Quite elegant and soft. Some citrus notes and fine acidity. Not your overblown, full-throttle California Chardonnay--just an easy-to-drink white value wine. Apple aroma and flavor with a fresh, lively finish. This was made by a very famous Russian River Valley producer. Note our new label. Alas, our names are not on the label.

[2011 Hedges Family Estates Red Mountain Red Blend (Elsewhere $25)]( [2011 Hedges Family Estates Red Mountain Red Blend (Elsewhere $25)]( ($15.99)
91 points Wine & Spirits: "A cool-weather blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Malbec and Franc, this wine leads with a scent of rye followed by compact, chewy Cabernet flavor. Its dark fruited, formidably tannic and tense in its structure, with a finish thats pleasingly savory. Decant and pour with butterflied lamb chops." (02/2016)
Wine Spectator: "Soft and supple, with notes of tea leaf and orange peel adding interest to the cherry and tobacco flavors, which linger gently. (HS)" (03/2014)
Jancis Robinson: "Black fruit, lovely elegant spice proper effortless quality here, savoury and sophisticated. Light bodied yet completely well balanced. (RH)" (05/2015)
K&L Notes: The 2011 Hedges Red Mountain Red Blend, this winery's flagship wine, looks like a Bordeaux style blend on the surface, but another look reveals a small amount of Syrah added to the blend of Cab, Merlot, Cab Franc and Malbec. All of the fruit comes from Washington's Red Mountain AVA, representing all of the vineyards Hedges farms, and is aged for 10 months in a combination of French, American and Hungarian oak, half new half neutral. Plenty of structure and acidity to support the elegant black and red fruit and well-integrated spice.

[2015 Château de Lancyre Roussanne Val de Montferrand]( ($16.99)
94 points Wine & Spirits: "Lancyres Roussanne is a treasure hidden among a portfolio focused on reds. Made mostly from Roussanne, with about 10 percent each Viognier and Marsanne, its grown in the north of Pic St-Loup, on a mix of clay and limestone. In 2015, the wine channels the warmth of the appellation in its deep yellow hue and tropical fruit scents, then does a stunning 180, focusing the flavors on stones and savory herbs. The richness remains in the nut-oil texture, but its clean and light, allowing the mineral flavors to shine. This wine lasts for days open in the fridge, realizing more detail with every meal. Accessible now, if you put it away for another five years it will continue to develop a deeper, nuttier complexity." (06/2017)
K&L Notes: Chateau de Lancyre is Pic Saint Loup's most iconic producer. Nestled in the hills outside the city of Montpellier, the winery's 78 hectares are overseen by oenologist Regis Valentin, who creates red blends based on Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre and white blends composed of Roussanne, Marsanne and Viognier. Though focused on reds, often their whites are some of the biggest standouts. The "Roussanne" is actually blended with a little Marsanne and Viognier.

[2016 Laberinto "Cenizas de Laberinto" Sauvignon Blanc Maule Valley]( [2016 Laberinto "Cenizas de Laberinto" Sauvignon Blanc Maule Valley]( ($17.99)
94 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Always among the best and most characterful Sauvignon Blancs from Chile, the 2016 Cenizas de Laberinto Sauvignon Blanc was cropped from a slightly cooler year, and the grapes were picked in March before the rain started. This cold-fermented, unoaked white has incredible parameters, moderate alcohol and very low pH (3.05), which provided for a sharp texture and great freshness. Even if the grape is very aromatic, the wine is more about the soil than the variety. This has the austerity and minerality of a Sancerre from Vatan, all about the soils with great acidity, going back to the style of cooler years like 2011 or 2013. It ends very tasty, almost salty. This is simply stunning and clearly over-delivers for the price. Unbelievable value and with all the ingredients for 10+ years in bottle. After three months in contact with the lees, 18,000 bottles were filled in November 2016. This is a great value if there is one in Chile! 94+ points. (LG)" (04/2017)

I can't say I've ever had a Sauvignon Blanc quite like this one, from Chile or anywhere else for that matter. The aromas are subtle, layered, discreet - I'd place them more in the Loire valley than anywhere else. On the palate, there is the sort of magical combination of salty minerality, lively citrus flavors and lees driven mouth feel that only the world's best Sauvignon Blanc brings to the table: Dagueneau, Edmond Vatan...in other words, French wines which typically go for north of $60. Here is a wine that brings you some of that magic for less than a third of the price. 12.3% ABV, elegant, mouth wateringly delicious Sauvignon Blanc - welcome to the new Chile!

[North Shore No. 11 Gin (750ml)]( [North Shore No. 11 Gin (750ml)]( ($31.99)
The botanicals in North Shore's No. 11 Gin add fullness without taking away from the leading role of the juniper berries. The balance is remarkable and lends itself well to classic cocktails from a time when gin was king. On first release, this gin was available exclusively to restaurants and bars. But after numerous requests from consumers who had No. 11 at their favorite dining spots, North Shore was kind enough to allow us to carry it. From the Beverage Tasting Institute: "94 points and a Gold Medal/Exceptional Rating. Clear. Dense, compacted aromas of honeycomb, lime soufflé, peppery juniper, and sweet spices. A soft, silky entry leads to a fruity medium-full of citrus custard pasty, pink peppercorns, fresh herbs, and honeyed juniper berries. Finishes with an long interplay of flavor with a touch of eucalyptus and minerals. A lovely, deeply flavorful, and elegantly styled gin that will be sensational in vintage cocktails."

Don't hesitate when you see this gin in stock, it is very small production and quite sought after. The last batch all sold before touching the shelf! The number 11 has a relaxed exoticism that reminds me of Hendricks, with a dry refreshing streak that only the Junipero can equal. The balance is fabulous, and combined with a lime from our dwarf tree, a glass full of ice and a splash of tonic, I was in after-work-cocktail heaven.

[Copper & Kings American Dry Gin (750ml)]( [Copper & Kings American Dry Gin (750ml)]( ($34.99)
Made to order at our request, our friends at Copper & Kings in Louisville, Kentucky about knocked our socks after pouring us a couple of house-made gin and tonics on our last trip out to Bourbon country. Using their supple and fruit forward apple brandy as a base (unlike 99.9% of all gins that use grain neutral spirit), the gang at America's favorite brandy distillery does a two step infusion process that follows a more classic pot still double distillation. The juniper berries and additional botanicals are first soaked and macerated into the "low wine" (the first apple distillate), a spirit that clocks in at about 35% ABV. Then, during the second distillation, a botanical basket is hung in the still, allowing the vapor to pass through the orange peels, lime peels, and lavender. Ultimately, the Copper & Kings gin is really just a flavored, unaged apple brandy that happens to taste a helluva lot like a traditional London Dry gin with a softer, creamier mouthfeel and a bit of a fruity lift. We were absolutely hooked after our first sip; so hooked, in fact, that we forced distillery owner Joe Heron to make us our own batch before leaving. Created on the tiniest pot still in the facility, each batch is roughly 120 bottles-the size of our order! Clean and crisp, with elegant juniper notes and a beautiful integration of the additional botanicals, this is easily the best American gin we've tasted in years.

My colleague recently told me that he intents to create a database for all of our gins and what our favorite cocktails were with each one. I loved this idea because I have several gins at home and I use different ones for different drinks. This is because gin is still probably the bartenders best friend, one of the most versatile of spirits with an ability to showcase a particular place and play with other flavors. That being said I am definitely going to put a bottle of the Copper & King into my bar because I feel like it is going to make some amazing cocktails. This is a big bold style gin with plenty of citrus and spice. However, this is not out balance at all, the flavor all works with each other. Lot's of aromatics and botanic notes hint at some amazing ways to play with this gin.
Driscoll]( | K&L Staff Member | Review Date: June 13, 2017
One thing to know about the C&K American dry gin is that it's made on the smallest pot still in the facility, which according to Joe only yields about 120 bottles worth of gin per batchexactly the amount we ordered in our initial ten case purchase. Smelling my first glass of the newly arrived hooch, I can already sense the differences from the bottle I originally brought back from the distillery this past Spring. There's a bit more apple must on the nose and the finish is creamier and tangier in profile. My point in mentioning that is: this is real small batch gin, in that it will taste a little bit different each time we order it. Joe is making it especially for us each time, so while the recipe will remain the same, the subtle nuances of the apple brandy base will vary from batch to batch. Other than the wildcard of a base material, the C&K American dry gin drinks much like a classic London dry style. Bright juniper notes, lifted by the coriander, with a fresh and spicy finish. In a gin and tonic, it's absolute heaven. It's also my new favorite gin in the store. I highly, highly recommend getting one.

It is a good time to be a gin drinker. There are so many high-quality gins available to choose from. This Copper Kings American Dry Gin is another creative and delicious addition to this category. It has beautiful aromatics of juniper, lavender and citrus. In the mouth the botanicals take first place, with the citrus adding secondary notes. The base is from distilled apple wine, which adds an additional splash of interest.

Copper Kings nailed this fantastic batch of gin! Not only does it have great lift from intense juniper flavor and brightness from a great blend of botanicals, it also has texture. This is going to feature often in gin and tonic drinking in the future!

[2012 Abbadia Ardenga "Piaggia" Brunello di Montalcino]( ($39.99)
95 points Wine Enthusiast: " *Editors' Choice* Here's a delicious red that opens with appealing ripe plum, blue flower, tobacco and baking spice aromas. Velvety tannins and fresh acidity provide structure and balance, while while juicy black cherry, raspberry compote and licorice flavors envelope the palate. Drink 2019-2032. (KO)" (04/2017)
93 points James Suckling: "I like the dried fruit to this red with blueberry and cherry undertones. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Polished and pretty. Very well done. Drink or hold." (02/2017)

A very complex wine from a great vintage! Enticing nose of leather, dried meat, dark fruit, cocoa and vanilla. Carrying on the palate the leather, olives, currants and cocoa. Medium+ tannins, and acidity. I would recommend decanting this beauty for about 1 hour before drinking.
Driscoll]( | K&L Staff Member | Review Date: June 05, 2014
This is as good as a deal as you'll find in 2009. It's just incredible wine with subtlety and finesse, a solid core of sweet fruit, and lovely tannins that almost melt on the finish. Potensac has been overdelivering as a Chateau for the last decade. This is a case-worthy purchase.

[2016 Domaines Ott "Château de Selle" Côtes de Provence Rosé]( ($46.99)
Domaines Ott is a wine company based in the south of France and the producer of some of the most prestigious rosé wines in Provence. The estate was founded by Marcel Ott, who arrived in Provence in 1896 and began planting vines. The three estates were added over the course of the 20th Century: Château de Selle was acquired in 1912, Clos Mireille in 1936, and finally, Château Romassan in 1956. Each of the three estates makes two wines, and all are bottled in the distinctively shaped bottles which represent the undulating landscape of Provence.

The Benriach distillery makes one of the most delicious and classically Speyside single malts in the business. The 15 year old Pedro Ximenez edition takes that classic malty character and adds the richness and texture of Spain's sweetest sherry to the mix, elevating the flavors from solely vanilla and barley into chocolate, mocha, and fudge. Normally priced at eighty dollars or more, this is a deal you won't want to miss.
Driscoll]( | K&L Staff Member | Review Date: August 19, 2017
Wowee wow...these opportunities are few and far between these days, but every now and again you get lucky. As many of you know, the BenRiach Group sold to Brown-Forman recently and, if you're not intimately familiar with the liquor business, Brown-Forman is distributed by a different company than Anchor, who was the previous importer. What happens every now and again is that the new distributor refuses to buy the old inventory from the previous supplier, which sometimes (but not always) results in a fire sale. Since I happened to be in the right place at the right time, I made an offer for the entire lot and they took the deal! Simply put: THERE IS NOTHING THIS GOOD FOR THIS PRICE IN SINGLE MALT WHISKY RIGHT NOW. Benriach, who also owned Glendronach distillery, makes textural, rich, and mouth-coating whiskies and this 15 year old sherry-finished edition offers the sweetness and intensity of Pedro Ximenez like icing on top of a malty, vanilla-laded cake. Rich and supple on the palate, this is a throwback malt for a throwback price that is simply too good to miss. Buy six bottles if you can afford to. You'll want to keep some of these hidden away for a rainy day.

This is an outstanding deal in a category where almost no deals exist: Sherry aged, distillery bottled malt with an age statement. I loved this rich, complex, deep whisky for the texture and finesse that only time can bring. I also loved the lift on the back, this nutty, round malt snaps into focus on the finish, which is long and detailed. The few cases that we received of this won't last long, and I am sure that I will kick myself for only buying one bottle once it is gone!

[2011 Rieussec, Sauternes]( [2011 Rieussec, Sauternes]( ($49.99)
96-97 points James Suckling: "This shows incredible freshness and power, with dried pineapples, mangoes and papayas. Full body, medium-sweet with electrifying acidity. Vibrates your palate. Barrel sample still. " (02/2014)
96 points Wine Spectator: "Intense, with ginger, yellow apple chutney, dried pineapple and papaya flavors coursing through a finish that brims with singed almond and lemon chiffon flavors. This retains a touch of youthful rawness, featuring a bitter orange note that's yet to be absorbed. No need to rush or worry here. Best from 2018 through 2040. (JM)" (02/2015)
95 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Tasted blind at the Sauternes 2011 horizontal tasting. The Château Rieussec 2011 transcends its somewhat middling performance from barrel and delivers a knockout wine in bottle. For sure, it demonstrates a lot of vanilla from the new oak on the nose, complemented by almond, French patisserie and touches of white peach. The élevage is more expressive than the terroir at the moment, although there is clearly a lot of fruit underneath. The palate is very well balanced, with thickly textured honeyed fruits that lacquer the inside of the mouth and stay there. This is extremely well balanced but very young and primal, yet the crescendo of flavors is very impressive. Tasted blind, I hazarded a guess that this might be Yquem 11. Enough said. (NM)" (02/2015)
95 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Brilliant golden yellow. Knockout nose combines peach, citrus fruits, white flowers, saffron, honey and stone complicated by very pure lemony botrytis. Extremely deep and concentrated but youthfully closed, showing a powerful floral character to the peach, passion fruit and marzipan flavors. Finishes very long and perfumed; a laser beam of acidity gives this Sauternes exceptional clarity and cut." (07/2014)
95 points Wine Enthusiast: "Layers of complex botrytis give this wine an immensely aromatic character. It is sumptuous and generous, ripe and full-bodied. The essential acidity comes through the dry structure of botrytis and sweet honey. The fruit is only just beginning to show and the wine is obviously very young. Drink from 2022." (05/2015)

[2014 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml)]( [2014 d'Yquem, Sauternes (375ml)]( ($169.99)

98 points Wine Spectator: "A stunner, sporting tropical mango and papaya notes that glide along beautifully, while heather honey, pineapple chutney and toasted coconut flavors fill in through the finish. Delivers an amazing mouthfeel that is both creamy and intense, with a pretty inner floral brightness that contrasts with the fruit. Best from 2020 through 2045. *Collectibles* (JM)" (03/2017)
98 points James Suckling: "Very subtle Yquem on the nose with dried pineapple, lemons, green apples and hints of botrytis. The palate grabs you by the arms and shows you superb concentration of spices, dried fruit, phenolics and incredible energy. Nothing is like this from Sauternes this vintage! Drink whenever you like. Spellbinding." (02/2017)
96-98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Château Yquem 2014 was picked over 9 weeks this year, with one-quarter of the grapes picked prior to 15 September. It delivers 134 grams per liter residual sugar and 7.3 grams per liter tartaric acid, with a pH 3.60. It has a captivating bouquet (I know...I know...what else were you expecting) But it entrances with its pure, wild honey notes mixed with almond and white chocolate scents, bestowed with beguiling delineation and focus. The palate is very poised with the acidity nigh on perfect. Occasionally an Yquem only reveals its components parts at this early juncture, necessitates conjecture. However the 2014 has a sense of harmony and completeness already, as if the élevage is merely there to usher it on to its finished state. There is undeniably great depth here, perhaps less conspicuous than other vintages because of that silver thread of acidity: notes of lemon sherbet, orange zest, shaved ginger and again, a few "flakes' of white chocolate. It is extremely long with tenderness rather than power on the finish. It's not quite up there in the rarefied heights of say, the 2001 or 2009, but it is what we call in the trade, "the business." 97-98 points James Suckling: "A crazy combination of botrytis, dried fruits and freshness. It's not the sweetness Yquem but it has an extraordinary depth of fruit and freshness. It goes on for minutes. Spicy and intense. A stunning young wine. A brightness and fabulous depth of fruit." (03/2015)

94-97 points Vinous: "The 2014 d'Yquem is exceptionally beautiful for so many reasons, not the least of which is a striking juxtaposition of bright, floral/citrus notes of the early picks, before botrytis had set in, with richer, more tropical-inflected nuances that resulted from the later picks, where rot had developed. In other words, the 2014 is a wine of sublime contrasts, which is one of the qualities that often define the truly great wines. Lemon peal, coconut, jasmine, peach jam and brioche are some of the aromas and flavors that are present today, but above all else it is the wine's textural finesse that elevates the 2014 into the stratosphere. The precise, understated finish is striking. There isn't much else to say except that the 2014 Yquem is a real stunner. (AG)" (04/2015)

[2005 Latour, Pauillac 2017 Ex-Chateau Release 6-pack in OWC]( - 1 available ($5,575.00)
100 points James Suckling: "A very complex nose of lavender, currants, spices, and hot stones. Full and dense on the palate, with a very tight structure. The tannins have a perfect polish to their density, and the finish is very intense, with wonderful fruit and truffle character. This turns almost decadent, with tremendous energy and a constantly changing profile. This is a very challenging wine to get to know, please leave this for at least ten years." (02/2011)
100 points Wine & Spirits: "How rare to confront a wine of this inner strength and perfect form. Grown at a 116-acre vineyard at the southern border of Pauillac, some of the vines now reaching 100 years of age on a gravel bar overlooking the Gironde, Latour harvests Cabernet Sauvignon with natural power. I could describe it as colors, from glistening ruby to purple-black then back to scarlet tannins that vibrate in red. Or just the pure, unadulterated flavor of black currant, unformed as a child is unformed, beautiful as a child is beautiful. However I might describe it, the wine is stronger than I am and will outlast me by decades. This is the most provocative and most brilliant Latour I have tasted on release." (10/2008)
100 points Wine Enthusiast: " *Best of 2008, Cellar Selection* A great wine, the summation of a great vintage in Bordeaux. The core of richness, the dense, bone-dry tannins, the black currants, red berries and black plum skins are the elements, but its the way they have been integrated that makes this such an impressive wine. There is great elegance as well, a fabulous counterpoint to such power. Cellar for at least 15 years, but this will keep forever. (RV)" (06/2008)
99 points Wine Spectator: "Dark ruby black in color. Brilliant, intense aromas of mineral, blackberry and currant, with hints of Indian spices and cigar box, lead to a full-bodied palate, with ultrafine tannins and a beautiful balance of blackberry, raspberry and mineral. There's subtlety, yet also great depth. Lasts for minutes on the palate. This is a Latour with fabulous tone and vigor. Best after 2018. (JS)" (03/2008)
98 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Latour has long been a formidable wine. I was granted the opportunity to re-taste the 2005 at the property after their estate released library reserves in February 2017. Now at twelve years of age, it has retained that riveting bouquet of black cherries and black plum, crème de cassis and graphite, although I find less of the latter compared to previous bottles (including the one tasted blind just three weeks earlier). The palate is very well balanced with blackberry, black plum, sea salt, a hint of balsamic, quite spicy in the mouth with a hint of cloves. There is immense weight and presence in the mouth, although I wonder whether the tannins are as fine as say the 2010 or even the nascent 2016 Latour tasted alongside? Either way, it remains a fabulous First Growth destined to last many, many years. (NM)" (05/2017)
98 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Deep ruby-red. Reticent, brooding aromas of cassis, black plum, graphite and flowers. Then utterly explosive in the mouth, with wonderful sappy complexity of flavor and a thickness of texture that builds and builds toward the back; almost no sign of the new oak here. Offers a near-magical combination of power and refinement, but this extremely primary wine is still an infant. Finishes with extraordinary persistence that leaves the palate vibrating. One of the greatest young Bordeaux I've tasted in recent years, and more complete and classic than the outrageously lush 2003. For his part, Engerer feels that this wine combines the best traits of the 2003 and 2000 Latours. I made the mistake of retasting the 2007 after trying this, and the tannins of the younger wine came off as dry by comparison. (ST)" (06/2008)
