From exceptional terroir in the Lujan de Cuyo sub-zone and with 92-point press from James Suckling, who lauds its "outstanding depth and fine tannins," the Ikella is a can't-miss case buy for Malbec fans everywhere. The [2019 Pontet-Canet, Pauillac]( is a pure showcase of the top-tier winemaking, meticulous biodynamic farming, and innovative risk-taking that have all combined to send this estate to the pinnacle of Left Bank collectibles, with efforts that often equal or outpace the legendary first growths in the eyes of the press. The 2019 vintage sees another spectacular rendition of the grand vin that critics have lavished with praise, but it has been extremely difficult to track down, so a new in-stock parcel at this stage in the game is a real score.
