[Navarra Vineyards] --------------------------------------------------------------- There are case-buys, and then there are multi-case buys, and the [2021 Agramont Graciano Navarra]( is exactly that. Made from one of Spain's lesser-known yet most important workhorse varietals, it's a categorically outstanding value buy of the highest order at just $14.99, made all the more so by a jaw-dropping, 97-point review from Decanter's 2022 World Wine Awards—"It has an intensity of flavour in the mouth and an energetic, impressively long, finish. A very accomplished expression of Graciano. The value here is superb!" It's the ideal option for anyone seeking to broaden their horizons with something they've never tried before, or for those who need a stellar go-to red for all their entertaining needs this upcoming holiday season. The [2009 Sociando-Mallet "Cuvée Jean Gautreau" Haut-Médoc]( is a library-vintage special bottling that celebrates the estate’s long-serving proprietor and is made only in the very best vintages in minuscule quantities. As to be expected, the 2009 is an otherworldly endeavor that deftly captures all the best characteristics of the estate and the vintage. Neal Martin was duly impressed, awarding a 93-point rating while assessing the wine as “superb.” Sociando-Mallet is known for producing wines that evolve at a glacial pace, but surprisingly this 2009 is very open and accessible now. Make no mistake, it has the body, tannin, and structure to warrant decades of aging, but don’t be shy about popping a cork now. As always, this is among the best values going in elite, collectible Bordeaux. Longtime collectors of Sociando-Mallet will definitely want to add this very special bottling to their cellar. And for those who might have not had the opportunity to taste the brilliant wines of this famed Haut-Médoc estate, you won’t find a more welcoming introduction. Finally, spirits collectors should take serious notice of an exclusive pre-sale opportunity on the [High N' Wicked 19 Year Old "Saints And Scholars" Barrel #4335 Single Malt Irish Whiskey]( one of the most coveted Irish whiskey releases we will see this year. This barrel is one of five barrels being released by High N' Wicked this year and is available before it hits wider distribution exclusively from K&L. These barrels aren't just any old Irish single-malt barrels though—they come from Noel Sweeney's personal collection. Noel Sweeney is the veteran Master Blender and Distiller from Cooley Distillery for over 30 years and one of the most awarded distillers in the world.
