Our Newest Acquisitions and Returning Favorites, All In One Place... Tuesday Jul 5th, 2022 [View in Browser]( [KL-emailheader.gif]( Whether it is a new allocation or an old favorite, below you will find our most recent additions to the diverse selection at K&L Wine Merchants. We receive new opportunities weekly, from direct imports to local distributors to carefully inspected back-vintage collections—read on for the best of this week's discoveries. Here is a look at our full list of [New Arrivals](. Here is our full list of items that are [Back in Stock](. Here you can browse [all our recent additions on the website](. [Château Kirwan] --------------------------------------------------------------- One of the most outstanding sub-$20 values in our entire inventory, 2019 Penfolds "Bin 28 Kalimna" Shiraz South Australia offers everything that fans of Aussie Shiraz are looking for in a stellar, 95-point package. With a raft of excellent critical press, including a 94-point Decanter review that praises its "sunny, fresh and vibrant fruit aromas and flavours swirling in the glass," this perennial best seller from Down Under is the perfect candidate to stack high and deep in the cellar, where it can serve as an impeccable go-to crowd pleaser any time you need one over the next several years. Two of Bordeaux's greatest 21st century vintages continue to deliver the goods, and then some. The 2010 and 2016 Château Kirwan Margaux are emblematic of what this superb, under-the-radar estate can achieve in benchmark vintages. Robert Parker called the 2010 "muscular, deep and impressive ... wine that allows for no compromise among wine lovers," while View From the Cellar's John Gilman notes its "impressive balance and a sense of measured ripeness." The 2016 is no less impressive, earning 95 points and an "Editors' Choice" designation from Wine Enthusiast. Both of these exceptional collectible buys present impeccable expressions of these reference-point vintages, and they're now in stock and ready to take their places in any well-curated Bordeaux cellar. Finally, our spirits team has just taken in a jaw-dropping haul from our friends at Hunter Laing Old & Rare. While there are several can't-miss bottlings in the line-up (some listed below), the star of the show is the Cragganmore 26 Year Old "Hunter Laing Old & Rare" First Fill Single Sherry Butt Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky. From one of Diageo's most prized distilleries, this is a quintessential sherry bomb of the highest order. With incredible age and pedigree, we'd expect this to fetch at least $500 (as we've seen elsewhere in the market), but we're able to bring it to you at an absolutely unbeatable price, making it one of our top collectible buys in luxury Scotch. Collectors and avid Scotch fanatics should take note: we don't expect this pre-arrival price to remain in place once the whisky arrives on our shelves, so this opportunity should be seized with the utmost urgency.
