Unbeatable Insider’s pricing on a stellar library gem… Monday Apr 18th, 2022 [View in Browser]( [KL-emailheader.gif]( Over 40% Off a Prime-Form, Single-Vineyard Napa Cab [2015 V12 Vineyards "444" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Previously $70)]( ($39.95) “Here's a phenomenal, one-time-deal … This is a real treat for the money, and it's going to disappear fast.” — Ryan Woodhouse, K&L Domestic Buyer --------------------------------------------------------------- The domestic team is back to doing what they do best—scouring the Golden State for unbeatable Insider deals that you won’t find anywhere else. Buyer Ryan Woodhouse has sourced another stellar Napa library standout from an absolute hidden gem of a vineyard and a winemaker with serious credentials. The 2015 V12 “444” Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon hails from a mere eight acres of hillside vines in the Stags Leap District once owned by the Robert Mondavi estate. The combination of Stags Leap opulence and the power-packed 2015 vintage results in a wine that’s tailor-made for hedonists. As Ryan describes it, “The rich, ripe, flamboyant fruit takes me right to Stags Leap, however there's also a vibrancy and freshness that makes me think of slightly cooler, elevated fruit.” After all, winemaker Chad Alexander honed his skills working with prime mountain fruit at some of the valley’s most consistently excellent estates. This bombastic stunner is just entering its prime drinking window at seven years old, making it ideal for those who want immediate gratification and those who have the patience to stash some away for a few years. Best of all, Ryan worked directly with the winery to secure a one-time, take-all deal that’s over 40% off the original release price, giving Napa fanatics the chance to stock up and enjoy it over and over again. [V12 Vineyards] --------------------------------------------------------------- [2015 V12 Vineyards "444" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Previously $70)]( V12 Vineyards "444" Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (Previously $70)]( ($39.95) Woodhouse]( | K&L Domestic Buyer | Review Date: April 15, 2022 Wow, for a while there it was slim pickings in the world of great deals on Napa Cabernet, but recently we've managed to unearth some real beauties! Here's a phenomenal, one-time deal on a single-vineyard Cabernet from V12 Estate high in the hills above the Stags Leap District. This property, purchased from Robert Mondavi, is a jewel of a vineyard planted in four different blocks, to four different clones of Cabernet, on four different root stock selections, hence the "444." Similar to the famed Stagecoach vineyard, this site had to be drilled and dynamited in order to plant vines in the almost solid bedrock! Only a small amount of wine is produced from the total eight acres of vines. The winemaker for V12 is the renowned Chad Alexander. Before establishing his own winemaking business, Chad honed his craft at properties such as St. Clement, Hess Collection on Mt. Veeder, and Robert Craig on Howell Mountain. The flavor profile of the 2015 V12 Cab makes perfect sense when you put all of this together. It explodes from the glass with exotic ripe red and black fruits—blackcurrant, liquored dark cherry, boysenberry, Asian spice oak tones, leather, and hot stone. The rich, ripe, flamboyant fruit takes me right to Stags Leap, however there's also a vibrancy and freshness that makes me think of slightly cooler, elevated fruit. As a guy with decades of experience working with bold, powerful, mountain-grown fruit, Chad has polished up the tannins beautifully with the help of some luxurious new French oak barrels, and now with six years in bottle, this is a wine you can enjoy tonight or any time over the next ten years. This is a real treat for the money, and it's going to disappear fast! --------------------------------------------------------------- [New Feed]( [Auction]( [Local]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [On the Trail (K&L Blog)]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [Instagram]( [Instagram]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [BORDEAUX]( | [NAPA]( | [BURGUNDY]( | [CHAMPAGNE]( | [ITALY]( | [RHÔNE]( | [SPIRITS]( --------------------------------------------------------------- [My Account]( | [Wine Clubs]( | [Events]( |[Gift Cards]( | [Accessories]( | [Delivery]( --------------------------------------------------------------- Missed an offer?
