[Résonance Vineyard] --------------------------------------------------------------- Proof positive of Oregon's propensity for turning out world-class Pinot Noir is the number of iconic Burgundy producers that have set up shop there in the past two decades, including Domaine Louis Jadot. The 2019 Résonance Pinot Noir Willamette Valley is ample evidence that Jadot are taking their Oregon project as seriously as anyone. A brand new 94-point review from the Wine Spectator calls it "vibrant and impeccably structured" and confirms this sub-$30 gem as a not-to-be-missed overachiever in domestic Pinot Noir. From the deep cellars of one of Spain's most iconic producers, we have a 14-year-old Tempranillo stunner with perfect provenance. The 2007 López de Heredia "Viña Tondonia" Reserva Rioja is an utterly quintessential, highly praised rendition declared as "one of the finest vintages of Viña Tondonia Reserva of recent years" by Wine Advocate, while Wine & Spirits calls it "a lovely, elegant Rioja in a classical mode." This impeccable gem is just starting to approach its prime drinking window, where it will remain for many years—an unbeatable example of what makes Rioja one of the most outstanding bargains in the collectible sphere. Last but not least, the Scotch hits continue to roll in, the latest being a bevy of spectacular K&L Exclusive Cask offerings from the wonderful Hart Brothers. This independent bottler always brings the goods, with nearly unparalleled combintations of rarity and value.
