[Leeuwin Estates] --------------------------------------------------------------- Back in stock this week is a limited reload on one of our best-selling Spanish reds of the year, the 97-point 2016 Pedro Martinez Alesanco Garnacha Rioja. This inimitable standout is both a sterling rendition of one of the world's most widely loved grapes and a spectacular value at just $35.99. Sourced from a single parcel of bush-vine Garnacha planted in 1905, this is a thrilling nod to Spain's viticultural heritage that is perfectly suited to re-introduce a facet of Rioja that has been all but lost in the tides of progress over the last century. Our own Kirk Walker calls it "hedonistic Garnacha that will disappear from your glass before you know it."
