Our Newest Acquisitions and Returning Favorites, All In One Place... Tuesday Feb 2nd, 2021 [View in Browser]( [KL-emailheader.gif]( NOTE: Our walk-in retail locations are currently closed. We have curbside pickup and low cost (often free) delivery options available in ZIP codes where we can ship lawfully, including anywhere in California. We can also include any new or existing will call orders in your delivery batch. Choose local delivery at checkout to learn if you qualify. --------------------------------------------------------------- Whether it is a new allocation or old favorite, below you will find our most recent additions to the diverse selection at K&L Wine Merchants. We receive new opportunities weekly from direct imports to local distributors to carefully inspected back-vintage collections—read on for the best of this week's discoveries. Here is a look at our full list of [New Arrivals](. Here is our full list of items that are [Back in Stock](. Here you can browse [all our recent additions on the website](. Rated 95 points and priced at only $14.99, the 2017 Clos de los Siete Red is among the sharpest buys you'll find in the market today. Famed consultant Michel Rolland made all the right moves in crafting this "elegant" Malbec-based red. An ideal pick for your next weeknight red, we highly recommend a case purchase, as this is a wine you'll find yourself coming back to time and again. Our domestic team continues to track down some ridiculous values you won't find anywhere else, and top among them is the 92-point 2019 Evolution (Sokol Blosser) Willamette Valley Chardonnay. With a price that's so low we can't show it here, this magnificently crafted white is another in a long line of bargains from Sokol Blosser. Its open and expressive style makes this beauty all too easy to drink, so it's the perfect go-to white for almost any occasion. This week, we have not one but two outstanding values out of Italy. Both priced at only $17.99, the 2017 Nozzole Chianti Classico Riserva and 2016 Tolaini "Al Passo" Toscana are two brilliant examples of Tuscan winemaking. Earning 95 and 94 points respectively, they left the critics more than a little impressed. Both show the modern side of Tuscany while remaining true to their Old-World roots. In the sub-$20 category, you simply won't do much better than this dashing pair. A newly arrived container brought with it a parcel from one of our top direct-import Champagne producers: Launois. From the very affordably priced "Cuvée Réservée" to the customer-favorite "Quartz" bottling, these are superb expressions that no Champagne enthusiast should miss. Our allocations never last for long, so make sure to use this opportunity to stock up for the coming months. We've had such success with the single-site expressions from Anthill Farms that we've gone back and asked for more! Highlighted this week is the 96-point 2018 "Comptche Ridge Vineyard" Pinot Noir. Consistently one of our favorite Pinots out of Mendocino Valley, this 2018 rendition is, as Antonio Galloni of Vinous notes, "fabulous." As Galloni goes onto note: "Beguiling in its aromatics and finely sculpted, the 2018 is marvelously complex." This is precisely the kind of bottling Pinot lovers search far and wide for. Lastly, out of the Rhône Valley, we have one of the top expressions of Châteauneuf in the 2019 vintage. Available on pre-arrival, the potential 99-point Domaine Grand Veneur Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes is about as immaculate as they come. Done in a "fresh, vibrant, full-bodied style," it is destined to become a collectors' favorite. You'll want to act now to make this singular expression your own.
