Give your Thanksgiving leftovers a new life with these recipes. Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 417

Give your Thanksgiving leftovers a new life with these recipes. [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 417 [Turkey Dinner Pie]( Have I professed my love of leftovers yet with you all? I know, love is a strong word, especially when it comes to remnants of meals past, but bear with me. Leftovers at their best can go a long way towards transforming your weekly meal rotation. Paired with baking, leftovers have even more power to turn plain ordinary meals into truly spectacular ones without a lot of effort. Not convinced? This is the right week to explore what I mean. Whether you'll be hosting or participating in a Thanksgiving meal this week, chances are you'll have some leftovers to enjoy. Some of you might look forward to the Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich more than the meal itself. So for you, I suggest either this [Thanksgiving Stuffing Loaf]( or this [Black Friday Bread](. The former mimics the aromatics and flavors of classic stuffing, while the latter is actually made with stuffing (and mashed potatoes). Soft, moist, and flavorful enough to stand up to robust fillings — either will lead you to an outstanding sandwich. If a hot meal is what you're after with your leftovers, we have you covered there too. I like riffing on this [Turkey and Dumplings]( recipe to make use of roasted chicken and turkey. I recommend throwing in whatever leftover roasted vegetables you have as well; they'll add dimension and texture. There's also our brand new [Turkey Dinner Pie]( (above) to take for a spin this year. It came to us from Susan Reid, one of our Senior Recipe Developers, who got the idea from a friend. It's an idea that'll resonate deeply with you (as it did with us) if you're at all a fan of "The Great British Baking Show" and/or British-style meat pies. The hot water crust is a year-round keeper even if you only make this pie once a year. And finally, as we round the corner into December and the holidays it brings, these [Tamales Tapatios]( from the beloved Pati Jinich would be a fine way to greet the season. Pati calls for chicken in the filling, but turkey would work nicely — especially leftover Thanksgiving turkey. Would you agree? Happy baking (with leftovers)!
