Your dinner bread basket never tasted so good. Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 416 When I was growin

Your dinner bread basket never tasted so good. [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 416 [Parker House Rolls]( When I was growing up, my family didn't eat a lot of dinner rolls. In fact, to this day, you're much more likely to find thick, crusty slices of baguette on our dinner table. We make more room for rolls these days though, especially at this time of year, as soups and stews become more regular repasts. Is your family the same? Or are you perennial dinner roll eaters? Either way, here's a roundup of some of our favorite dinner roll recipes. Like so many other baked goods, dinner rolls come in a variety of shapes, textures, and flavors. There are those that are super soft and buttery, like the famous [Parker House Rolls]( (above). And there are those that are crusty and airy — similar to a baguette — like these [European-Style Hard Rolls](. I'd love to see a bread basket that offers both, sustaining those with different tastes at the same table. I'd also love to see the basket filled with these [Golden Pumpkin Dinner Rolls](. With a little bit of pumpkin and a touch of spice, they'd make an especially welcome presence this season. For rolls that are a little heartier, I like both these [Seeded Babka Buns]( and these [Honey Oatmeal Rolls](. The buns are like having mini savory babkas in your bread basket, and surely there can't be anything wrong with that. I really enjoy the touch of crunch you get from the seeds interspersed throughout every bite. The rolls are new to our site and based on an old favorite bread of ours: honey oatmeal bread. Dense, moist, and lightly sweetened, they're a workhorse at the dinner table, sopping up every last bit of sauce, juice, or soup. That is the goal after all, is it not? I'll see you at the next meeting of the clean plate club. In the meantime, happy baking!
