The baking season is upon us. What will you bake? Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 415 We are in full

The (pie) baking season is upon us. What will you bake? [Free shipping on orders over $75]( [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 415 [Cranberry Chiffon Pie]( We are in full-on baking season, folks. How are you doing with it? Have you mastered a new skill? Discovered a new favorite ingredient? Found the recipe of your dreams? None of the above? I hope, in any case, you're enjoying plenty of opportunities to break out some flour, turn on your oven, and/or get playful in the kitchen. I know I sure am, and this week I'm eager to practice my pie baking. Apple pie has been top of mind for me, and this [Crusty Apple Pie]( has my name written on it. It has a couple of unique ingredients — buttermilk powder and Baker's Cinnamon Filling — which I'll make an effort to get. The buttermilk powder is so handy when you're fresh out of the liquid stuff, while the filling is a nice shortcut in many of our best cinnamon recipes. Since I fully intend to bake this pie on repeat this month (and into the winter), I'll declare these two ingredients as pantry staples for the season. Looking for a more traditional, deeper-dish apple pie? This [Secret Ingredient Apple Pie]( is a solid favorite. It goes in the oven for a longer, slower bake, so be sure to start with good, sturdy baking apples cut into hearty wedges. This is not the pie for that nifty apple corer, peeler, and slicer. Clearly, I could go on at length about apple pie recipes, but that wouldn't be fair. Recipes like this [Smooth and Spicy Pumpkin Pie](, this [Yankee Pecan Pie](, and this brand new [Cranberry Chiffon Pie]( (above) are all highly deserving of the spotlight, too. The pumpkin pie is for you if you're a fan of our Vietnamese Cinnamon. If you feel like you can never add enough maple syrup to your pancakes, you should try the pecan pie. And I personally recommend the chiffon pie if you're up for something retro and fun. We went through many rounds of testing on this one, and it ignited a new (or refound) love for chiffon for many of us. Will it do the same for you? I certainly think it could. Happy baking!
