5 quick bread recipes to make life a little easier. [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 389 [Carrot Cake Bread made with baking sugar alternative]( Hey moms, how's the day going? Hopefully you're getting spoiled and enjoying some semblance of a day off after 364 days of being on. You've certainly earned it! Since we like to show our appreciation through baking (always), this week, I'm going to cover a category of recipes that I have deemed mom-essential: quick breads. Quick breads come in all sorts of shapes, sizes, flavors, and textures. Plus, true to their name, they generally come together speedily. For these reasons, I believe quick breads to be the best addition to whatever mom routine you have going. Let's take [Cornbread]( as our first example. Not only is this family-friendly bread quick to prepare, but it also comes out of the oven in less time than it takes to cook a 30-minute meal. I myself have leaned on it many times to accompany chili and the ever-not-so-popular dinner salad. I'll let you guess which part of dinner disappears the fastest (hint: it's not the chili or the salad). Another quick bread option at the dinner table is soda bread. Around here, we're big fans of this [Cabot Cheddar Soda Bread]( and this [Boston Brown Bread](. They're both inspired by the flavors and traditions of the Northeast, for sure, but there's no reason why they couldn't be universally loved wherever you are. And speaking of universally loved, let's not overlook the popularity of quick breads at breakfast. Two of our newer recipes, [Carrot Cake Bread]( and [Lemon Poppy Seed Bread](, would make excellent breakfast contenders. Since they're both made with our zero-calorie Baking Sugar Alternative, they're a dream come true for any mom (or anyone for that matter) looking to reduce their or their family's sugar intake. They're also downright tasty and, of course, quick to make. Because you moms deserve at least that. Happy Mother's Day!
