Discover your new favorite sourdough recipe. [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 373 [Sourdough Rye Dessert Focaccia]( Alright sourdough bakers, (yes, I'm talking to you even if keeping a sourdough starter has only ever been a passing thought for you), how are those starters doing? Whether they're bubbling vigorously on your counter, awaiting a feeding in the refrigerator, or have yet to exist, let's give them a little love this week. What do you say? Based off of last year's stats, you all have been doing a ton of sourdough baking. And since many of our tried and true sourdough recipes have become your go-tos, today I'll focus on some of our newer recipes that maybe you haven't checked out yet. First up are two recipes that could very well become daily bakes for you: our [Pain de Campagne]( and our [Do-Nothing Sourdough Bread](. Both recipes offer a fuss-free approach to making sourdough bread, especially when you might have your hands full with other daily tasks (I can certainly attest to fitting each loaf into a busy weekday routine). Or you might try this [Vermont Sourdough]( that Jeffery Hamelman brought to us in an Isolation Baking Show episode (see the tip at the bottom of the recipe to watch the show!). It requires a slightly more rigid schedule, but you'll be rewarded with a crusty, chewy, open-crumbed loaf with bright sourdough tang. For something perhaps a little more occasion-oriented, cookbook author and sourdough connoisseur, Bryan Ford, shared this [Sourdough Rye Dessert Focaccia]( (above) with us this fall. With a little planning (see the tip for a sample schedule), you could enjoy fresh from the oven focaccia for breakfast one morning (again, I'll attest to that being a very doable endeavor, and a pretty sublime one at that!). Of course, with all this sourdough baking, you'll likely generate some discarded starter. So what should you do with this miraculously free ingredient you've been granted? Make these [(ridiculously) Quick Sourdough Herb and Scallion Pancakes](. Crunchy, chewy and oh-so flavorful, they go with just about any meal. They've become one of my favorite ways to use up my discard these days, and I'd love for them to serve the same purpose for you. Will you give them a chance? Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
