Keep your favorite football fans fed! [Ends tonight: 15% off orders over $60]( [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration with David Batch 429 [Bacon-Cheddar-Chive Party Bread]( As a late-in-life football fan (I only became interested in the game a few months ago), I have absolutely no grounds to suggest changes to America's favorite sport. But here I go anyway. With the hubris and confidence that only a rookie fan can muster, I'm here to tell you what football needs to be a truly great sport. It needs more baked goods. Yeah yeah yeah, chicken wings are great. And nachos? I've got no problem with nachos. But when it's the end of the third quarter and my team still hasn't even made a field goal, the only thing that's going to comfort me is a security blanket of golden carbs. And my fellow King Arthur employee-owners agree. Here's what we're baking today (yes, the Super Bowl is today — and yes, you still have time to bake!). Alana's prepping [Bacon-Cheddar-Chive Party Bread](. PJ's making [Flaky Cheese Twists](. Kat, one of my punniest coworkers (a feat, because there's no shortage of puns around here), told me she'll be baking [Blitz Bread](. (Note to self: Google what a football "blitz" is.) Annabelle is going no-dairy, no-pigskin with [Vegan Spinach and Artichoke Hand Pies](, while PJ is pairing her cheese twists with these [Samosas](. Molly is making [Corn Tortillas](, then frying those tortillas in lieu of storebought Tostitos for her guacamole (talk about major league!), and Bill is eschewing delivery and tackling the [Neapolitan Pizza]( himself (listen, I warned you about King Arthur's penchant for puns). But it's my coworker Benny who gets my award for MVP. He's baking [Cinnamon Star Bread](, but replacing the sweet filling with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and pepperoni. He's putting our [pizza flavoring]( in the dough, and sprinkling our [Pizza Seasoning]( on top. I may not know much about football, but I know that's what you call a touchdown. Happy baking (and go Bengals!), David Editorial Director Recipes We're Baking This Week ★★★★★ [Flaky Cheese Twists]( ★★★★★ [Blitz Bread: No-Fuss Focaccia]( ★★★★★ [Vegan Spinach and Artichoke Hand Pies]( ★★★★★ [Neapolitan-Style Pizza Crust]( Baking Gluten-Free?
