that just want to buy your IT services? ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 🤔 Danger I've Been Thinking I've been thinking a lot about lead generation lately and the path many take when they get a business enquiry. Most, including myself, if I were still running my MSP, would attempt to book a meeting and do a deep dive into the problems the prospect is having with their tech. Then, we go to the quoting stage and approval. That's in an ideal world, and if you've been in the MSP game long enough, you know it rarely is as easy as the lead comes in > figure out problems > quotes solutions> contract signed. Most of the MRR clients I acquired were in my pipeline for 12-24 months before they were in a position to buy. That's a long time to wait, but with it, there's a great opportunity, and that's to nurture the leads. Sending emails like this educates both your existing clients on the services you offer but also allows you to position yourself correctly as "The Technology Expert". So, how do you position yourself? Marketing content that's where the true power of marketing comes in. Many think marketing material will act as a way to "get leads", but actually, most of the marketing material we create at IT Rockstars should be used to nurture existing leads. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
