L.A. Based MSP Killing It With SEO ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

L.A. Based MSP Killing It With SEO ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ 🏂 Snow and SEO Rankings We are busy putting together a new information product for our members, and I want to share some of the findings we've come across - I think you'll be surprised. It's been heavy snow here, probably much like most of everyone else in the northern hemisphere; however, I did manage to get up a local hill before the worst of it - this one's called Bennachie. It's a good starter as it only takes about an hour to climb. [cyber security sales book image] Something that might help you start the new year off more productive - if you are anything like me, you get sucked into social media, and it can take a real hit on productivity. Especially when you've got better things to do, like marketing your IT services to the right prospects. [StayFocused]( is a Chrome extension that allows you to block websites - I've got this turned on my desktop - the theory here is that if you can only spend 10 minutes each day on social media, then StayFocused blocks access. What about my mobile Scott? I hear you ask....delete the apps. 💾 The L.A. MSP Ranking High In The Search A quick Google search reveals the top results for some of the most competitive search results on the web. If you pay for Google Ads you can expect anywhere between $50-$150/click for the keyword "IT Support LA". However, there are also the organic listings - those near the top of the page are killing it. I've done a quick calculation and used a few tools: Monthly Queries for IT Support LA: 10,000 searches/month Top Result getting around 1/3 traffic: 3,500 views/month Even with a 1% conversion rate, that would be 30 appointments in the diary. So the question is, how can you replicate this for your IT business? Three things: Niche down - don't even bother going for these highly competitive terms - the top spot is always changing. Topical Authority - publish consistent, useful information on your blog that is related and linked to the terms you want to rank for. Digital PR - get high-quality backlinks (5-10/month for at least the next six months). How do you achieve these three things? Stay tuned to these emails. I'll be releasing a checklist next week that you can work on to get your site ranking for hidden gems. 📣 MSP Industry Shout Out Do you know anyone who you can introduce me to the ASCII Group? They've got a few [US events]( lined up for 2024, and I'd love to talk to one of their channel people. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
