πŸ•™ Do you show your price on your website? A hot topic for many is pricing on their website. Yesterday, I met with a potential client who has a shopping cart for cybersecurity services on their website. It might seem like a great idea, but I think this approach is perhaps the worst way to sell cybersecurity services. They've had zero sales through it. Here's my take on why: I wouldn't make pricing for my MSP/Cyber services easily findable on my website. The primary reason for this decision stems from lessons I've learned from Jennifer Bleam's book, "[Simplified Cybersecurity Sales for MSPs.]( [cyber security sales book image]( One of the key takeaways is that prospects during the sales process must clearly understand the value you provide to your customers. This understanding involves revealing their cybersecurity gaps from both a technical perspective and an emotional level. Displaying your prices on your website negates the ability to price profitably. However, there are instances where pricing does make sense. Perhaps you have more business than you can handle, or maybe you offer exclusive services. Another situation where I see pricing as a possibility is when you have a specific marketing campaign and funnel separate from your main website pages. However, even in these cases, the potential is limited, and I truly believe that if you have your sales process well-tuned, clear pricing on your website equates to leaving money on the table. πŸ’Ύ MSP Marketing Tip Of The Week If you are doing any kind of video marketing, make sure to link to them from your email marketing efforts. A good example is [this video]( that explains one of the big opportunities MSPs have right now with regard to SEO. Why should you link to the video from your email?
