Emerging Australian Industrial Metals Company enters into binding agreement to purchase Lithium project, complementing current Graphite production. Bass Metals Ltd (ASX Code: BSM) an emerging ASX listed producer of Graphite concentrates, is pleased to announce it has signed a binding agreement, subject to successful due diligence, to acquire a potentially high grade, pegmatite hosted lithium project located in Madagascar. Bass’ core objective remains the refurbishment of its flagship project the Graphmada Graphite Mine and profitable production of high grade concentrates of large to jumbo flake graphite. Bass remains on track to deliver at Graphmada having made substantial progress to date and will update the market shortly. Bass continues to pursue the expansion of its graphite resource inventory via continued exploration and drilling, at both its leases in proximity to existing production infrastructure and across its broader tenement package including the Andapa project. Bass has consistently stated it intends to pursue broader opportunities within Madagascar and is pleased to have reached a binding agreement for Millie’s reward. Bass has significant experience at board level in Lithium concentrates and end markets and is attracted to the long term fundamentals of Lithium concentrate markets. Bass Metals CEO, Mr Tim McManus: “The team is excited to bring a discovery like Millie’s Reward into our portfolio, especially as it’s fully permitted for mining. However, we maintain our primary focus of optimising the premium asset of Graphmada to generate positive cash flows in 2017. When these cash flows become available we will seek to invest in expanding production at Graphmada and developing an increasingly exciting portfolio of projects, which includes the Andapa jumbo flake deposit and Millie’s Reward; a unique and potentially globally significant lithium project.” “We are also pleased with our recent progress at the Mahefedok jumbo flake deposit and look forward to receiving the assay results from Bureau Veritas with the aim of completing a maiden resource estimate this quarter for the deposit.” “We are currently preparing an operations update for Graphmada to inform the market of our progress and look forward to releasing further information on Millie’s Reward in due course.” [Click for link to todays announcement]( [Click for link to recent investor presentation]( [HotCopper]( [View this email online]( · [Unsubscribe]( · [Contact Us](mailto:info@hotcopper.com.au) You are receiving this email because you are a member of [HotCopper]( which is owned and operated by Report Card Pty Ltd.
