We all want to go back to normal, and we need to do better Dear friends, We’re nearly two full years into this pandemic, and daily cases are higher than ever. We all want to go back to normal, and it’s time to shift our COVID-19 policies at the federal and state levels to handle this new lifestyle long-term. [I’m running for Congress to bring sensible solutions to our community, and if you support these efforts, please click here to help us win so that we can implement some of these proposals.]( Easy access to testing is important so that people know how to prevent spreading the virus to others. Starting this week, the Biden Administration is shipping tests for FREE to anyone who requests them. Visit [www.COVIDtests.gov]( to get yours. We also need access to high-quality masks, and I'm thankful that President Biden is working on this as well. Governor DeSantis has banned schools from implementing mask policies, and this is a major contributor to the spread of COVID-19 among our children. This decision affected my family personally, and after going through that, I want to make sure no one else has to! We need to be better prepared for the next surge to prevent it from getting out of control like Omicron has. We need federally backed, locally implemented systems and standards that can quickly scale up as cases spike with a new variant. We also need to provide more funding to local governments, hospitals, schools, and other entities to support prevention and treatment programs and upgrade systems that would make our communities safer. Improving ventilation systems would have a major impact on reducing spread of the virus. No one wants to be talking about COVID-19 after two years, and I understand that. But if we don’t address some of the key vulnerabilities in our community, this pandemic will continue to worsen. I will always follow the science and work for the safety of our community. [When elected to Congress, I’ll continue fighting for solutions to our most difficult issues. Please click here to support our efforts if you believe that elected officials should listen to scientists, not politics, to better serve your needs.]( Thank you, Eric Lynn [Contribute]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [Web Site]( Paid for by Eric Lynn for Congress Eric Lynn for Congress PO Box 16991 St. Petersburg, FL 33733 United States If you believe you received this message in error or wish to no longer receive email from us, please [unsubscribe](.
