While new maps are drawn, we are losing precious time ahead of the May 17th primary. We are alerting Democrats about Eric Gash who is a teacher, pastor, former professional football player, and high school football coach running to replace Madison Cawthorn in North Carolina's 14th Congressional District. Things have changed dramatically in my race, so I hope you’ll let me explain why your support is so critical right now. Last week, the NC Supreme Court threw out the Republicans' gerrymandered congressional maps. This is a huge win, but while new maps are drawn, we are losing precious time ahead of the May 17th primary. It's possible we'll have less than three months to campaign in our new district before ballots are cast. It's about ensuring working families have a shot at good-paying jobs and safe, affordable housing. We need to lay the groundwork right now to reach those critical swing voters and counter the onslaught of attacks coming from our GOP opponents. This is going to take resources, and truth be told, fundraising has been difficult with Republicans creating so much uncertainty. That's why we need to ask: [We're counting on another 110 donations coming in today to help us pick up the pace. We're depending on individual donors to fund this effort. So thanks in advance for joining the fight!
