The cart and the horse.... [View in browser]( Double your book sales in just 3 week I'm halfway done with the 21 Day Author Platform course and have some exciting new developments. First of all, THANKS to those of you who've already joined at the early-bird pricing. I was able to grab an amazing tool for making simple [social media graphics](. But then I went down the rabbit hole, shopping for useful things way out of my budget. I found a text-to-speech converter using the latest new Google voices (not quite good enough for audiobooks, but useful for many other things). And I found a Wordpress theme: there are tons of free Wordpress themes of course but I really wanted to be able to offer genre-specific, 1-click installs so people can have a great site instantly; I started years ago playing around with Divi and making templates, but things change too quickly and it got too complex. So I think I found one that's perfect, and I'm in negotiations to buy it from the creators so I can customize the themes and give it away to authors. I also had the superb idea of using my little collection of high authority bookish blogs to give you a quick SEO boost. But since most authors don't understand the importance of backlinks, I'm also adding something kind of flashy... Get featured in mainstream media! For years I've resisted the idea of using a book publicist or press release because they don't work (in the way you think they do). But they *can* be pretty good for perceived authority and for backlinks... and I've been snapping up useful tools and resources recently and I found one I think would work. The Cart: I'm putting the "cart before the horse" by offering you things I'm not really ready to offer yet. But I work quickly and I've put up half a dozen new blogs this week already - so I added some premium levels to the 21-Day Author Platform course for those of you who just want quick results, without spending time on another course. I'm including some very useful things I'd really rather not do, at much lower prices than I want to charge, because it'll force me to build out the services and allow me to buy the tools I need, which I can then share with more authors. People try to pay me $5K or more all the time to handle their book launch, and I refuse because they want to pay for stuff that doesn't work. But I'm pretty confident that this will. The pricing is all messed because I'm still in beta, but hopefully you found [the discount link]( so the cheapest option (course access) should show as $97. For $497, you get a custom press release and a feature on 5 authority book blogs. For $997... well check it out below, it's a lot. These offers and prices are temporary - only until the course gets finished, which should be in about a week. I might send a quick reminder out tomorrow but otherwise, I probably won't talk about this course any more. I'll be aggressively focused on scaling up my traffic; and those who are in with me will benefit most. Oh and I've only got room for 5 authors. The spots will fill fast, so if you're interested make sure you act quickly (there's plenty of space at the discount level, but you'll have to do more of the work yourself). PS. I just added one new trick that's low-key genius and worth the entire price of this course (for getting key influencers to share your book). And I found ANOTHER hack that let me "write" a 16,000 word article for my blog in 5 minutes... I'll post that on my main site once I get organized. The long and short of it... (TL;DR) I'm basically launching a course I hadn't planned to launch at all, so I can fundraise to buy a bunch of tools I can give away for free. I'm also buying my friends a life-size pair of neon angel wings for their bar, because I like buying things for my friends (2nd child insecurity syndrome...) I'm doing all this when stock and crypto crashed and my traffic is still down 1/2 from a year ago but I'm enthusiastic about all the cool tools. Save more with a course bundle As a reminder, I offered to give access to my course if you sign up for the [SelfPublishing101]( course, which is closing tomorrow. So get that one AND mine if you want to save a little by doubling up. (Just buy Mark's course with my link, then email me so I can give you access). Or get mine for $97 and you'll get access to all the new cool stuff I'm buying/building/developing ([1 down](, 3 to go). Or do nothing, and I'll build these tools and resources for you anyway so you can use them to sell more books. But that means you have to pay attention, as you don't want to be the last person who starts using them. First movers always get the best results. $97 today, $997 tomorrow.* [Check out the 21 Day Author Platform here.]( [facebook]( [instagram]( [twitter]( [youtube]( PS. In a couple weeks, some of my courses will be included in some big writing bundles - I'll tell you more about those later, but it's an opportunity to grab a bunch of deals at once, for premium writing software, publishing tools and resources. So if you want to get the most bang for your buck - keep an eye out for those emails (you'll still get the full course, but I'll remove some of the bonuses before then). Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
