12 email marketing tips for authors Social media marketing I said I'd share this *sweats nervously*

12 email marketing tips for authors [View in browser]( Social media marketing (Graaphics) I said I'd share this *sweats nervously* so here it is. [Graaphics.co (it's not a typo)](This isn't the online cover creator I've been working on for years, but it's a neat little tool for designing social media graphics. I added a bunch of templates and I *think* it will be really useful for authors to share book reviews and excerpts. There are lots of other online graphic design tools that are great, but nothing as lean, simple and hopefully fun. I've developed a habit of buying useful things but I'm not a developer so most of this code is beyond me... but I would like to make a "gallery" with author-submitted posts so if you make some cool designs, save them and I'll see if I can feature your book on the site somewhere. This tool is actually listed on Product Hunt - so if you have a second you could [give it an "upvote"]( so it can reach more people (assuming you like it!) I'm not expecting it to earn anything but I hope it helps authors upgrade their social media posts. Fiction Marketing Academy This should be going on now, if you want to catch some of the sessions - these are some industry insiders who work for big self-publishing companies, so they have a good idea of what's up. [Here's the link.]( 12-step email newsletter cheatsheet I've also been working on my blog, SEO and the 21 day author platform course. I don't think I ever shared this one, that I actually made awhile ago. It's a 12-week email marketing plan for authors, but there's also a welcome email series and a book launch series, you can copy+paste and have all your newsletter content for months.[Check it out here.]( Kickstarter for books? It seems like every author is doing Kickstarter right now, so I'm going to say more about that soon (including how to get fancy custom limited edition printing and stuff)... but a friend of mine just posted a bunch of amazing [kickstarter articles on my site](, since he's an expert. [facebook]( [instagram]( [twitter]( [youtube]( * PS. you can still save $900 and get into the 21 day author platform course for $97. I added a couple bonus courses also. [Check it out here.](And if you're a course-collector and haven't bought them all yet, Self-publishing 101 is also [open right now](. It feels like there's a lot going on suddenly, all at the same time, but maybe that's just me. Or maybe it's all the multiverse movies. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
