Hey {NAME}, I'm writing this in the after glow of cohosting a Fearless Fast Write with the . Titanid

Hey {NAME}, I'm writing this in the after glow of cohosting a Fearless Fast Write with the [Titanides group](=). Titanides is a woman only mentoring collective run by the rather amazing Marcella Allison. In this session, we talked about Brene Brown's book Daring Greatly. I highlighted some segments that really made an impact on me before reading an excerpt about "minding the gap". "Minding the gap is a daring strategy. We have to pay attention to the space between where we're actually standing and where we want to be. More importantly, we have to practice the values that we're holding out as important in our culture. We don't have to be perfect, just engaged and committed to aligning values with action. We also need to be prepared: The gremlins will be out in full forces, as they love to sneak up just when we're about to step into the arena, be vulnerable, and take some chances." Modeling and practising the behaviour and values we want to embody -- through the awkwardness and difficult moments -- is how we build our muscles and make them a habit or second nature. It's how we close the gap become that person we want to be! But here is the thing... we are often very clear on the gap between where we are and where we want to and it feels like a bottomless pit that we don't have the ability to cross. Queue imposter complex, people-pleasing behaviour and retreating from 'the arena'. [Kitties retreating into a basket] In the Fearless Fast Write part of the session, everyone had 5 mins to write a love letter to themselves. The kind of letter you'd write to your best-friend when she needed to know how you see her. In 5 minutes people encouraged and nurtured themselves in amazing ways. Is that something you'd be up for {NAME}. Set a timer. Write that letter. See yourself through the eyes of people who love you. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hot convos and questions There were a lot of juicy questions this week so I've held some over to next week's round-up. Be sure to check in with the FB group to catch them hot off the press! #ADVICE [Tanya Rabe](=): "Is it ok to ask here how you get your clients? Do you have a letter you email?
