Hey {NAME}, This week, I was part of an amazing moment: a copywriter uncovering their USP (unique selling proposition). That's a statement of what you do, who you do it for and the summing-summing you offer that makes you a great choice. It sounds straight-forward but it's not easy if you don't know who you want to write for or what make you more choosable than your competitors. The copywriter in question had been struggling with this kind of statement for a long time and it was becoming a real block. On our monthly Confident Copywriting call, she was talking through where she was at thanks to another program. It was progress but she was still stuck. Members on the call started pitching ideas and in a few minutes, connections between had been made and BOOM a niche was declared. Two things I LOVE about this. - She's treating this niche as an experiment. She can change it later, if she wants to. - The power of talking things through with other people. She'd done the work. The ideas were there but they all came together through a conversation with her peers who brought their own insights and experience to the process. That's the power of a great community! A quick thanks to you for being part of For The Love of Copy, {NAME}. Be sure to get in and get involved as that's where the magic happens. --------------------------------------------------------------- Hot convos and questions #ADVICE - [Lilly Karenza](=) is looking for recommendations for SEO tools. I'm super excited (and nervous) to explore the traits that make great leaders as they read and share from Brené Brown’s bestselling book, Daring Greatly: How the Courage to Be Vulnerable Transforms the Way We Live, Love, Parent, and Lead. What is a Fearless Fast Write? We pick a topic, or prompt from the book. We set a timer for 5 minutes and when it starts, we write nonstop until the timer chimes. We write without pausing or judging. We do a read around. And finally, we do read backs of our favourite insights and lines. Every time I attend one of these, I am surprised at what plops out of me and onto my page. I walk away feeling refreshed and energised. Will you join us?
