This is a weird email. There’s nothing for you to buy… There’s no copywriting lesson… And it’s specifically for the men… (But if you have a male romantic partner, keep reading…) Instead, it’s about something I’ve taken a serious interest in over the past 6 months, or so… But before I reveal that, true or false: Your quality of life is significantly influenced by the DEPTH of your relationships. True… no shit, amirite? Taking it a step further… men NEED men. It’s science. As men, we often rely on our romantic partners for essentially everything. It’s NOT a winning strategy. As men, it’s CRITICAL for us to have brothers who’ll love us “funconditionally,” be our “accountabili-buddies,” and playfully laugh and compete with/at us. There’s a unique support that ONLY men can provide for each other. And being in consistent, deep connection with like-hearted dudes who you can fully trust is EVERYTHING. Speaking for myself, it makes me a better, more fulfilled man across the board – in my romantic relationship, in my friendships, and in my business. And growing up in hockey locker rooms, I can tell you that I didn’t grow up having deep, authentic, meaningful conversations with fellow men who were doing “the work”, but rather, that boyish surface-level “locker room talk” you may also be familiar with… That’s what I’ve been up to lately… Men’s Work. I've attended a men’s retreat in Austin recently… I’ve joined a weekly virtual men’s group… I’ve started one-on-one men’s coaching… And it’s been a goddamn game-changer.
